The outcome appears to have been massively influenced by whales. Since whales are also UMA token holders, they heavily sway dispute outcomes.

The rich keep getting richer by exploiting desperate people who still think the market is fair.

Free cheese is only in a mousetrap.

After depositing funds on this platform, my balance has not been updated. I contacted the platform's customer service that same day and opened a ticket on Discord, but they claimed 'my transaction was flagged' and kept delaying, deliberately refusing to process it. Several days have passed and there is still no progress. I have decided to report this matter to law enforcement.
Do not use this disgusting fraudulent platform! They can seize users' deposited funds at any time without reason.

This people are scam.. it might work for some bit not for everyone

If you bet on sports and the match was cancelled, you will lose money because they will share your bets 50/50.

Worst is if you bet on a player to score and the player didn't play atall, normally it would be a void but Polymarket will settle it as a LOSS.. even If you bet a million dollars, it's gone.

Significant Financial Loss Due to Security Lapses

I suffered a loss of 4000 USD without justification on the platform. On January 18, 2026, I lost 5500 CAD after clicking a phishing link found in a comment on the site. I have reported this to the local anti-fraud agency and the police, hoping to raise awareness and see if others faced similar issues. Screenshots are available. After clicking the link, I was directed to a fraudulent site that mimicked the original. Soon after, my account was accessed without my permission, leading to a cryptocurrency transfer from my wallet. I reached out to customer support, who confirmed the unauthorized access but stated they could not recover my funds. They did not dispute that the phishing link was posted on their platform. I believe this incident was a result of security negligence, including:
- Allowing unverified phishing links to be posted on the main trading platform.
- No warning or disclaimer before redirecting users away from the site.
- Lack of secondary verification or withdrawal confirmations before fund transfers.
- No alerts for new device logins or withdrawal attempts.
- No warnings for suspicious logins, even when access occurred from a different device or location. The phishing link remained visible in an active discussion for a long time, and no effective action was taken even after I reported it. These security oversights significantly contributed to my financial loss. I have also filed a report with federal authorities and am awaiting a follow-up from investigators.

If you go to this platform trying to get money predicting the future, be aware that Polymarket is no

If you go to this platform trying to get money predicting the future, be aware that Polymarket is not about predicting the future, it is about how to play a whale's game. There are markets where resolution is easy and universal but there are also markets where a case would need to be done to prove your point, a lot of times resolution relies on a voting system settled on a different ecosystem, the UMA Protocol, basically you need to hold UMA tokens and you vote with those tokens, no matter what the truth is, whoever possess the greater amount of tokens settles the resolution of a market, it is rigged by whales. There are Polymarket whales that are UMA whales too, every time a market doesn't go their way, they abuse the system so they don't lose money. UMA oracle is prone to 51% attacks, and it has occurred more often than not caused by these whales. Polymarket wash their hands about that and refuse to punish bad faith actors on the platform. They just don't care about reliability while they brag how the platform "actually" is an indicator of the "truth" on Twitter, now X.
Can you make money here? YES, but you have to play their game, you will not make money betting against whales. Play the game and don't expect fair play, it is the only way to not get rigged, bet safe!

I regret to say this platform has shown itself to be completely untrustworthy.

I regret to say this platform has shown itself to be completely untrustworthy. What is marketed as a "prediction market" feels more like a rigged game with no accountability. My breaking point was the election market, which was supposed to resolve by December 31st. Not only was the outcome obviously disputed and unclear, but the resolution process was unclear and seemingly arbitrary. This is a perfect illustration of how easily results can be manipulated or ignored when they don’t align with the platform or its powerful users. The fundamental issues are systemic: · Questionable Manipulation: It’s widely known that well-organized groups can and do influence markets. There’s no effective protection against this collusion.
· Lack of Transparency: Important decisions regarding market resolution are made in secret. There is no clear, impartial, or verifiable process. If a market becomes inconvenient, it seems they can simply label it "disputed" and wash their hands of it.
· Your Funds in Jeopardy: You’re not betting on actual outcomes; you’re betting on the platform's judgment to interpret those outcomes fairly. They have consistently failed this basic standard. Conclusion: A platform where outcomes seem manipulable and resolutions lack transparency is not a prediction market; it’s a cynical casino where the house always has a hidden edge. Save your time and money. One star only because zero isn’t an option.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! There was an event involving Venezuela that was acknowledged by the platform, yet the market resolved contrary to expectations. They changed the rules mid-game to influence outcomes, and there are major players manipulating the results. We have evidence of these practices. It seems like the platform is scamming users, with insiders manipulating markets and suppressing opposing views.

This platform is filled with manipulated bets and dubious audits

This platform is filled with manipulated bets where the auditing process seems compromised. For instance, just today, three of my bets were resolved incorrectly because token holders voted for outcomes that were not accurate. One bet about the legality of a situation was resolved as yes, despite it still being illegal, and another regarding an incident was marked as no, even though a simple search confirmed otherwise.
