Review Time
I've allowed this software ample time to resolve its problems. I made my purchase prior to the upgrade and had scheduled posts for an entire year, only to lose them and receive poor customer support. After seeing improvements in the upgrade, I decided to give it another chance. However, it’s either performing exceptionally well or terribly slow, with content failing to load. I've tested it on several computers, and my internet speed exceeds 400mbps, so that's not the issue. Customer support is hit or miss; on several occasions, a representative ended my chat without a response. Although the system indicates the chat was ended, the representative claims it was due to a timeout. Regardless, I waited over 20 minutes with no reply before the chat closed. He acknowledged his lack of response and assured me it wouldn’t happen again. The situation remains uncertain, but I've given the service numerous chances before sharing a negative review, hoping they can improve.
I've given this software some time to fix it's issues. I purchased before the upgrade and had all of my posts scheduled out for a year. Lost them and received horrible customer service. Came back and the upgrade was better so started giving it a try again. It either works amazing or it is awful, so slow and nothing loads. I've tried multiple computers and my internet speeds are over 400mbps so that isn't the issue. Customer service is either great or crap. A couple of times Paul has ended my chat without even responding. The system says Paul ended he claims it times out. Regardless, it well over 20 minutes with him assigned to it and not a response before it ends. He knows he's not responding as he stated it wouldn't happen again. The jury is still out. But I've given it many opportunities before I posted a negative review in hopes they get it together.
DO NOT USE POSTLY!!!!! i have lost 3 months worth of scheduled work gone because of the stupid update. Can you believe a SCHEDULING app had an update and ERASED all scheduled work. Would have been ok if the update was worth it but it removed all synced accounts. Its terrible. The new update sucks.
Used to be a great piece of software until the "updated" their platform. They ended up deleting all of my scheduled posts, the platform now just seems to be missing features that were there before and now just simply dont work. I contacted support about the issues with the posts going missing and recurring posts being delete from accounts and they said their dev team had issues with migrating them when they rolled out. Rather than pull the pin on the deployment they rolled out anyway and have likely p!ssed off alot of customers. The platform is pretty much not usable anymore and what ever go standing this company has built up has not been lost
We had an extremely disappointing experience with Postly. They erased all of our workspaces and failed to migrate our clients’ accounts properly to their new platform. As a result, we lost all of our previously published posts as well as the scheduled posts for every client account. This caused major disruption to our business and damaged client trust.The lack of preparation, accountability, and support throughout this transition was unacceptable. If you rely on social media scheduling and client management, I would strongly advise against using Postly.
The company updated their dashboard without the technical foresight to back up my scheduled posts — posts I paid my VA hundreds of dollars to create. Now everything is gone. This is exactly what happens when you trust a cheap subscription service. I don’t care what their “intentions” were; their developers need to get it together. And spare me the canned AI-style responses — they don’t fix the problem.
DONT USE THIS APP. Use any other social media posting platform before. You might think to yourself, for this price it’s not bad and gets what I need done. Except whenever they update their platform even when it’s something as simple as the user interface, it will delete all of your scheduled work. Months of posts just lost to the void for a new pretty interface. No email or notification that an update was coming. Just logged in and all my work was gone. I reached out to support and all they could say is, “sorry for the frustration and for the extra work” it’s not just extra work, it’s months of work I now have to find a way to fit into my already busy schedule. This app is straight bullshit. Do not use if you want to keep your work.
