Frustrations following the service transition

It's been quite some time since the service changed ownership and the desktop version was discontinued, leading to numerous issues for many users, including myself. The decision to remove the desktop version seems misguided. Moving forward, it would be beneficial to reinstate this option and provide clarity on the reasoning behind this choice. A recent data breach has exposed user information, raising further concerns. Update: It seems the company is prioritizing profit over user satisfaction, which is frustrating. There’s been no response from the support team to user feedback.

Absolutely the worst experience imaginable

This is absolutely the worst experience imaginable. After the removal of desktop support, I had to manually configure 2FA for every app where it was set up, and then remove it from the previous service. The mobile application is so poorly designed that it's laughable. It offers no way to verify your account with username/password, only through phone number, and even that is riddled with bugs, failing to send validation SMS. An app meant to facilitate 2FA lacks a proper sign-in process. Furthermore, since it became mandatory for another platform, logging in has turned into a nightmare. The fact that the company didn’t even take a moment to validate this profile speaks volumes about their intentions with this product. It's clear they want it to fail, dragging all users down with it. Do not waste your time on this. I’ve canceled my account elsewhere and will not spend a dime on any product from this company.

If only I could rate this zero

If only I could rate this zero. I was automatically logged into an old work email I couldn’t access when I started a free trial. I reached out to the support team for help, but they ignored my request, and I ended up getting charged. This feels like nothing more than an unreliable scam. There are so many better options available, avoid this at all costs.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. This app is a total waste of time and utterly unreliable. Logging in is always a hassle, and the verification codes or calls rarely function correctly. For a security app, this service fails to provide even the most basic features. Using it is nothing short of frustrating.

I would rate them zero stars if possible

I would rate them zero stars if possible. Because of their incompetence, I risk losing access to my account since they can’t perform a simple task like changing a phone number, despite having all necessary information. They even require a passport photo, but the size limit is so restrictive that when my photo exceeded it slightly, they essentially told me to start over. Avoid this app; the developers should feel ashamed.

An incredibly unreliable and insecure service

The company discontinued support for desktop applications, which were the only versions with an export feature. Due to a significant data breach, I no longer trust my 2FA with them and want to switch to a more secure solution. However, the mobile versions lack the export feature, and the desktop versions are gone, making it impossible to transfer my keys elsewhere. I’ve read that some users managed to retrieve their keys through formal requests, but even that process is frustrating and requires technical skills. I have little hope for success. This company has proven to be horrible, and I recommend staying away. Update: Months have passed, and my request has been completely ignored, which is also a violation of regulations.

I encountered issues receiving SMS to recover my access. I contacted support, and they resolved the issue within 24 hours, even on a weekend. This was easily the best and friendliest support experience I’ve ever had with a free service.
