I was playing around in the website and decided to use my credit card for one month subscription so I could see if I could use the PowerPoint for work. Once I paid, I downloaded one template to use but decided I didn't want to keep it for the whole subscription and just pay for only one month. I was unaware that it charged me for a whole year of $191.88. I literally only used it for 15 mins and paid 200. The company will not refund my money because I downloaded on template. I offered to pay for one month but they would not compromise. Never would I use again.
Powtoon is a scam, nothing is free. You are not able to sample or try anything in order to understand the functionality and limitations. As soon as you attempt to use any of its free features, it automatically says upgrade plan, and shows you a billing screen. I would not recommend any product that advertises are free trial and then switch to paid without you first trying it out.
