Review Time
My son had a brilliant time with Premier over the February half-term. The sessions was packed with loads of activities & he made lots of new friends. As parents we were really impressed with Leo’s enthusiasm & welcoming nature.
I arranged this holiday club through a holiday club service. My other child has special needs and attended this club previously. I brought my other child here now that he has started school. I provided all necessary information regarding his needs. He was accepted at one location, but I received a call to pick him up after about 2 hours and 30 minutes. This was supposed to be a 9am-3pm club. I was informed that he was running around trying to open doors and gates, and it was deemed unsafe for him due to the lack of one-on-one support. With 25 children and only 2 staff members, it is inadequate for accommodating children with varying needs, making it a discriminatory environment. Despite his acceptance and the claim of being inclusive in the club's description, the reality was different. I visited another location as suggested by the staff from the first site to check if they had more staff available. I tried a location closer to home this morning. I explained the situation from yesterday and sought reassurance about my son's care so I could manage my day and ensure he understood what was happening. The staff member seemed hesitant to accept him, and despite explaining that he had been accepted the previous evening, she could not provide any clarity on whether they could meet his needs. Overall, I would advise against this club if your child requires additional support. Their description is misleading, and their communication is lacking. I reached out to them regarding my confirmed booking, but my concerns and questions went unanswered.
The instructor is truly exceptional; my child was eager to start gymnastics and couldn't contain her excitement. He created a comfortable atmosphere, offered encouragement during her nervous moments, celebrated her successes, and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable.
My daughter enjoyed the sessions, and the instructors were very friendly. However, there seemed to be an unusually high number of cancelled sessions this term (my daughter attended a couple each week), which led to frequent last-minute adjustments for childcare and a feeling of having to be ready for the next cancellation. Additionally, the sessions ended at 16:15, but the kids were usually ready to be picked up by 16:05, which made it feel like they weren't receiving the full time we had paid for. These factors influenced our choice not to enroll for the next term.
I thoroughly enjoy the football classes provided; the coaches are fantastic and ensure that my daughter with ASD is included in the activities while giving her the necessary support. She looks forward to her football lessons and is gaining impressive skills. I will definitely enroll her for the next term and wholeheartedly recommend them.
I am quite disappointed to learn that the fees are rising again! I have never used the flexible booking option, so I haven't incurred the extra charges! I prefer to book sessions for my children as needed, which now means an additional £1.25 for each booking unless I reserve multiple sessions. I don't think this is feedback that parents have provided. The continuous cost increases are becoming unmanageable for some working families!
I really enjoy the football classes offered; the coaches are excellent and ensure my daughter with ASD is included and supported. She loves her lessons and is developing great skills. I will definitely enroll her for the next term and highly recommend them.
