Review Time
I paid €31 for express delivery of my passport from an embassy within Dublin and have been waiting 8 days since I received shipping notification. I could have crawled on my hands and knees and received my parcel by now. I feel sorry for the people who work here as it’s clearly a larger fundamental issue with the company. I hope I never have to deal with GLS again, I am just going to go to their depot and beg for my parcel. Their customer service is clearly egregiously understaffed although when you do get to speak to people they are polite and it is obviously not their fault.
Absolutely the single worst logistics company in Ireland. I've ordered products for Xmas. One went with GLS and others with DHL and Amazon. All coming from the same areas (Germany, Belgium) all arrived early or on time.. Except GLS. GLS claim they were delayed by weather though no one else was. Ordered 14/12, tracked on 15/12 only and nothing more. They don't reply to web forms, they don't answer calls. They only advise you to refer to the tracker that doesn't actually track. Funnily enough it magically appeared the day after I wrote a negative review, having been missing for 3 1/2 weeks. It was delivered to recipient address. I certainly didn't get it. The package was small and should have fit through letterbox. No sign. No contact. Uncontactable. Not over my wall, in my garden or around my bins. I firmly believe it was lost and they lied about delivering it. This company is literally as bad as fastway, hopefully they'll see the same fate because they're a joke of a company. 'Parcels to People'.. Is that right? Not from what I've seen and experienced.
My experience with GLS is similar to many others who have had the misfortune to deal with them. Package 'out for delivery' on 22nd December, no sign. Package 'delivered' on the 27th December, no delivery made. Tracking is a joke, no evidence of delivery, no signature, so this means nothing. Package was a piece of furniture so not likely to be missed. They are a fraudulent company with zero customer service, disgraceful.
Took the day off work ,no delivery as promised .next day day I tracked it and it said my parcel come from Bristol to East Midlands to Huntingdon to castle donnington to East Midlands again then back to Huntingdon them Norwich !!your system sucks .upside the driver was a nice guy if I have a choice I will never use your company again !
My package, in a cardboard box, was left at my front door yesterday in the heaviest rain. By the time I got home two hours later, it was completely soaked. Couldn't the courier have wrapped it in a bag, or if he didn't have one, pushed it deeper into the bushes or covered it with an empty rubbish bin which was on the property?
