Excellent experience

Excellent experience! I bought my car used, and subscribed to the AA gold warranty. I had two repair in a years. The most recent being a fault with he engine of my car, after only 64000 miles. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I phoned the claims department, they found me a garage to bring my car to, and took care of the repair costs. All in all this insurance has saved me a small fortune!

Really poor service

I had a very bad experience with this as cover, I bought a car from car giant and they advice me to get the 3 years warranty from as which cover any damage including clutch, My car is under 60000 miles , now I had a problem with the car (clutch) and they referred me to take to Halfords my car is there for 5 days, I haven't received any answer I couldn't use my car to take my kids to school or for our personal use, and surprise surprise I received a call in the morning saying that my problem is not cover and I have to pay for the fixing which will be lots of money, now I was without a car for a week and i been lied about this warranty and I have to pay for it. I advice anyone to avoid this warranty from car giant.I feel I been cheated and rip off by them, I want to cancel my 3 years warranty now, and they told me to call car giant, and car giant is telling me to call them, absolutely joke

Good and positive response to a claim

Good and positive response to a claim, although the hourly rate of £40 is unlikely to get you a decent garage. Their estimate of the time taken to repair and therefore what they were willing to refund was also low. But they ended up paying for around two thirds of the repair and for a manufacturers part - so not too bad in the end.

AA warranty not worth the peice of paper it’s written on.

AA warranty not worth a squat, STEAR CLEAR!! Was sold the 5 star gold policy when I bought a car from car giant which obviously the sales people get a commision for doing. First off it’s not even AA, it’s a different company called Motorway direct trading under the AA name. Headlight unit packed up on my Audi a6, phoned them up and explained to which the lady told me straight off the bat that they would not be able to cover it. I paid near enough £600 for a cover which is supposed to cover everything but they tell me they can’t cover a bloody headlight? ABSOULUTE JOKE 🤬. If your buying a car from car giant which I strongly advise against be sure not to take the warrenty, your better off getting a manufacture warrenty which will cover you for everything.

This is the worst company i have ever…

This is the worst company i have ever dealt with and i cannot emphasis how much you should avoid at all costs. The warranties are worthless and the staff are rude and will happily waste your time trying to find routes to reject a claim.

Brilliant service when i had to ring up…

Brilliant service when i had to ring up about my smashed rear windscreen, even though warranty doesn’t cover glass they reimbursed me the cost of a replacement as it was a fault with the car and not a stone etc that caused the damage! Friendly and really helpful staff! Patrick was great handling my claim!!

I would not recommend AA warranty

I would not recommend AA warranty. The claim that you put in ,you pay first then claim back later through AA warranty, if it's successful. If they reject your claim you end up paying.
