UPDATE: Rise has a built in problem that holds up withdrawals. Support says they can reset your account, but it will take 2 weeks. Meantime, you don't have access to your own money. From what I’ve seen, this isn’t a one‑off glitch but a design problem in how Rise handles security and withdrawals. They stack a separate ‘Security Key + 12‑word seed’ on top of the normal login, so if anything goes wrong during password resets, KYC reviews, or account migrations, the system starts rejecting perfectly correct keys/phrases. Instead of telling you what’s actually wrong, you just get vague errors like ‘Invalid Security Key password’ or ‘Your seed phrase is not valid,’ with no way to fix it yourself. The only solution seems to be a manual ‘ID reset’ by back‑office staff, but reviews show those requests can sit for weeks in ‘compliance’ with little or no response. Because Rise sits between prop firms, wallets, and banks, their default seems to be: if anything is inconsistent, block withdrawals—so people can see their balance and log in, but are locked out of the one control that actually lets them move their money.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have full access to my Rise account and can see my balance of approximately 7,266.60 USD, but I am blocked from withdrawing because the system first reported ‘Invalid Security Key password’ and now rejects my original 12‑word seed phrase with ‘Your seed phrase is not valid, please try again with another seed phrase or contact support.’ I am entering the exact phrase I was given on signup. This appears to be a technical failure on Rise’s side that prevents me from accessing my funds. I've requested them to urgently (1) verify my identity and (2) reset or bypass the Security Key/seed so I can withdraw my balance or have them execute the withdrawal for me within 3 business days. If this is not resolved I will file complaints with the CFPB and California Attorney General for unreasonable restriction of access to my funds. Support agent, NEO, stopped communicating in chat when I made these requests.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with RiseWorks.

After successfully passing my prop firm challenge and becoming eligible for payout, my verification was unexpectedly denied through RiseWorks. I submitted all the required documents and followed every instruction carefully. Despite this, my verification was rejected without a clear explanation or proper guidance on what exactly was wrong.

Because of this denial, I’m now unable to receive payment from my prop firm, which is incredibly frustrating after putting in significant time, effort, and money to pass the challenge.

The lack of transparency and support has made this situation even worse. When someone has worked hard to meet all the requirements, the verification process should be clear, fair, and efficient — not a barrier to receiving legitimately earned funds.

I sincerely hope RiseWorks improves their communication and provides clearer reasons for verification denials, as well as a straightforward process to resolve issues quickly.

At this point, I cannot recommend their service based on my experience.

I withdraw from rise work on 19th Jan 2026, and today is 26th Jan 2026 still the funds are not credit to my international bank, the team is not providing the transaction reference nor detail of the transaction, they only respond that international transfer takes time and wait. I don't know where my funds are stuck in the system, but it is sure that it has disappeared from my rise dashboard.

Update: It’s now been 10 days since my withdrawal request. Still no SWIFT code, no tracking, no ETA, and no clarity on where my $9227is. Only generic “bank procedure” replies while the waiting period keeps getting extended. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Each day they are extended to wait

Updates: For details you can refer to my previous reviews, but after 1 month of follow up, Please see the response of rise team below
(Thank you for your patience. We apologize for the delay in our response, as we are currently experiencing a high volume of contacts.
According to the latest update from the finance team, they have already initiated the recall process. Please note that recalls may take several days to weeks to complete. We kindly ask for your continued patience while the funds are being returned. We will inform you as soon as the funds have been received.
Thank you for your understanding.)

Now They extend the waiting time to multiple weeks more, come on rise team in this digital era of banking how one transaction took month to reach to final destination, I am pretty much sure that rise team didn't initiate my transaction. you hold my funds and I have no clue where are my funds till today

Feels like scam for international transfer but good at crypto transfers

We all know that five business days is more than enough any international bank transfer.

Now it’s 11 days and every day their horrible support team saying the same message that they are trained to say( be patient while our team working on this)

11 days so far without a single proper update, just wait

My transfer amount is 4,000usd and I’m giving them the coming days until I’ll pursue them legally and via safer claim

This is my 5th withdrawal request on Rise using the same bank, but the funds have not been credited

This is my 5th withdrawal request on Rise using the same bank, but the funds have not been credited until now, even though the previous 4 withdrawals were sent and credited to my bank within just 15-60 minutes after the request.

Feb Fri 13, 2026 : I requested a withdrawal from my Rise account in the morning, U.S. time, but one business day has passed, and no funds have reached my bank in Indonesia (even though it always worked smoothly before and received within 15-60 minutes).

Feb Sat 14, 2026 : I contacted them to ask why my money hadn't been sent, and the customer support only gave a generic response, saying that it supposedly takes 1 business day to be processed on their end and up to 2-3 business days to be processed by the customer's bank.

Feb Mon 16, 2026 : I contacted them again to ask for clarification, but I received a generic response like on February 14. This was the second time, and I understand it might take time from their side. However, what I requested was a status update on the current situation, but there was no straightforward answer.

Feb Wed 18, 2026 : I am now contacting them again, and currently, I am connected with a new support representative named Danny. He mentioned that there will no longer be any generic responses, and he has taken the initiative to escalate my issue to their financial team. I appreciate that effort, however, unfortunately, my request to convert the conversation into a ticket (so I can track the status of the issue via email) was not fulfilled. As a result, I am unable to monitor the progress of my issue.

Feb Thu 19, 2026 : There is still no clarity on what the issue is causing this delay, no clarity from customer support, no clarity from their financial team, no clarity on when this problem can be addressed or resolved. Moreover, I still cannot track the status of this issue up until now because the conversation has not been converted into a ticket, the only way to track it, is to open a live chat over and over

Feb Fri 20, 2026 : There is no clarity from their financial team regarding the issue.

I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering using Rise Works, especially those in the prop

I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering using Rise Works, especially those in the prop firm or crypto space. I am a former banker with 15+ years of experience in SWIFT payments, so I understand exactly how money movement should work. My experience with Rise has been nothing short of alarming and suggests potential misappropriation of funds.

The Timeline of Failure:

Feb 4: Initiated a withdrawal of $2,700 to my US bank account.

Feb 6: Funds didn't arrive. Requested an MT103 SWIFT receipt (standard proof of transfer).

Feb 11: Received an automated email saying funds were "returned" and credited to my Rise account. They were not.

Present (Feb 16): Money is still missing. The transaction screen has been removed from my dashboard.

The Red Flags (From a Professional Perspective):

Refusal to Provide MT103: For 2 weeks, they have refused to provide the SWIFT receipt. In any legitimate bank, this is generated instantly. Withholding it usually means the transfer was never actually sent.

The "Vanishing" Transaction: They removed the processing screen from my view. This is highly irregular and appears to be an attempt to hide evidence or transaction IDs.

Contradictory Statements: They claim the money was returned, then claim they are "investigating with their banking partner," then suggest I use crypto. These stories do not align.

Pattern of Stalling: Looking at other recent 1-star reviews here, I see a pattern of funds being stuck for weeks and support ghosting customers. My case confirms this is not an isolated incident.

Current Status: My funds ($2,700) are simply gone from my wallet. I have escalated this to management and am now pursuing regulatory complaints (CFPB, Ohio AG). If you are considering using Rise Works for a large payout, be aware that you may not actually receive your money, and their "support" will gaslight you with generic promises while your funds disappear.

I withdraw from risework on 19th Jan 2026, and today is 26th Jan 2026 still the funds are not credit to my international bank, the team is not providing the transaction reference nor detail of the transaction, they only respond that international transfer takes time and wait. I don't know where my funds are stuck in the system, but it is sure that it has disappeared from my rise dashboard.

There must be a complete detail of the transfer invoices in withdrawal section, the invoice appeared only contain the address of rise and the customer and the amount only.
Rise should develop a system where customer can easily track their funds.

Update 2: today is the 11th day and riseworks is playing with me holding my funds and showing no progress on transaction, this is really pathetic experience with risework.

Update 3. After 11 days they flag my ticket with finance so that it remain in priority. What the fk is this

Update: 4, 30-Jan-2025 I received the MT-103 swift number and I shared with my bank, let see what response I will receive from my bank. I will update everything till I receive my payment.

Updated 5: The Bank responded that there is no incoming transaction with the attached MT-103. I get back to rise and rise agent said that in this case it will be reverse again but it will take several weeks. Come on rise team, it looks like my funds are hold by rise and they give me wrong detail, now my funds will be held for several weeks again. I made a huge mistake to use rise for transaction.

Update:6, today is8th February and I am still waiting for my funds, riseworks reply to my the review, I shared my details but no one take any action. I wrote to my bank three time and share the MT103, everytime bank responded that there is no incommung transaction with this MT103. It looks like riseworks share the fake MT103 to hold my funds, remember they are still holding my funds and asking me to wait they are inquiring from the bank partners, what a rubish system is this

Update 9 Feb 2026: Rise team again raise the ticket to finance team and ask me to wait further they will get the updates. I am really fed-up with this service. I pray for my funds security but it looks like my funds have been lost.
