My friend chose Pure Cremation as she wanted to be in control and plan her funeral without her family having the burden of organising or attending a ceremony.
I have to say from my initial contact with the team when she passed the support and process was outstanding.
Everything was clearly explained on the phone and followed up by email.
The team who came to collect my friend were so respectful and showed the utmost respect for her on her final journey and caring to us as her friends.
The final process of delivering her ashes back to me was faultless and Brooke was so kind, caring and took the time to ask about my friend before she left.
I would highly recommend Pure Cremation. I know this isn't for everyone but my experience was first class and has now made me look at organising my own funeral plan with them.
I was looking to put my affairs in order so did a bit of research on funeral plans and direct cremations. I chose Pure cremation in the end after reading all the good reviews from others who had purchased plans from them. It was so quick and easy and my funeral plan was with me within a week. As I payed with a one off payment I had £100 off the final price which was a bonus. Such a relief to know my family need not worry about finding the cost of a funeral once the time comes. The pack also comes with info about making a will too which was an added bonus. Total piece of mind.
My Wife and myself took out a Pure Cremations plan and paid in full. When my Wife's Aunt passed away she was bundled into a van with other bodies in there. Another occasion I saw a pure cremations van, the driver was a young man in shorts and a tee shirt with his feet up on the dashboard eating and the dash was covered in rubbish! Dignified? I think not! We have now cancelled our plans.

I reached out online after seeing an advertisement on TV. After receiving a quote, I decided it wasn’t for me. Since then, I have been inundated with daily texts, emails, phone calls, and voicemail messages from automated systems pushing me to proceed with the service. I understand there's an option to request no marketing contact, but the relentless communication is excessive. While I can manage to unsubscribe and block numbers, an elderly person in this situation might find it very distressing. Companies need to recognize that individuals may simply be seeking information without wanting to be overwhelmed with sales attempts.

However, I faced some challenges with after-sales support regarding a voucher. Despite my attempts to clarify, I was told I should have contacted them within a specific timeframe, which was never mentioned during the purchase. The company communicates well during the sale but seems to forget you afterward. It’s unfortunate that a reputable company could drop the ball in this area.
I initially sought a quote from this company but decided not to proceed. Since then, I have been bombarded with automated calls, and even though I’ve blocked the number, I still receive automated voice messages. This feels like harassment, and I will not engage with this company again.
Sadly, over the last two years, my family has utilized the service. Our parents had chosen this option and paid for it before their passing. Both times, the service has been wonderful, keeping me updated throughout the process. This time, I had a lovely contact who was understanding and supportive during a difficult time, even sharing comforting words. The representative also made a courtesy call to inform me when my mother would be brought home, arriving promptly and with kindness. I can’t thank the team enough for the dignity and compassion they showed us. I will always appreciate those who do this work and help ease our grief.
