The worse customer experience So sad that this company appears not to care about their customers at all. I inadvertently placed an order twice. As soon as I realised my mistake I emailed Purition who did reply within minutes and confirmed that they could see what had happened and would of course cancel the duplicate order and informed me that my money ‘had been refunded’ (which was not the case). Several emails later and going back and worth with my Bank (who confirmed that Purition had indeed taken out two identical payments) Purition denied that they had my money literally gaselighting me into believing it was my imagination or a fault with my bank. The entire incident required me having to go through a lengthy ‘Charge Back’ process with my Bank (at a cost to my bank) to get my money back. Every step of the way I was told by my bank that this situation could easily be resolved between me and Purition and they could halt the process at anytime but Purition dug their heals in and still claimed they didn’t have my money. The last result I had to email proof from my bank account and Apple Pay showing that the money had been taken twice, then and only then did Purition carry out an investigation proving what I had been telling them was the truth all along. The entire nightmare took several weeks to resolve and I received no real or genuine apology from them. Dreadful customer service, awful people to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
Have been using vegan vanilla for many months, I initially didn’t love the taste but once used to it I looked forward to my morning shake . Product has been altered to vegan 2.0 formula. Definitely tastes different, at this stage I think the original was better. However, am getting used to the new flavour. I add a cinnamon and this rounds out the flavour beautifully.In terms of the benefits of the product. I feel full and satisfied after my morning shake. It lasts until lunch time no problem (and I am a grazer). I like that I get lots of protein to start the day off, and love that the product is whole food. I find that oat milk is great with it. Also almond milk.Customer service seems good and delivery is fast. The web site is easy to use and I am quickly manage my subscription (cheapest way to buy the product).You need a blender if you want to have it as a shake. I use a NutriBullet and it makes the shake nice and creamy.
I used to love Purition and had it everyday for breakfast. The taste and texture was lovely and I relied on it as it had such a great mixture of different proteins. and was really nutritious.Now they have switched to a 2.0 blend that is supposed to be "improved" but it tastes horrible, the texture is bad and it is now made mostly of fava bean protein which is really hard to digest and contains anti-nutrients. It causes me digestive discomfort so I am unable to use it anymore and is no longer very nutritious - which is the main reason for using it surely?! I will have to stop using Purition as it could lead to malnutrition but also because I can no longer stomach it... unless they bring the old, much loved blend back :(
Purition make an excellent range of shake/smoothie powder blends. The range is excellent and the ingredients are very healthy. I have tried nearly all of their flavours now, and they're excellent. They have a wide vegan range, which has a new and improved recipe for lots of different kinds of shake. They had a flash sale to clear the previous stock, and despite overwhelming response to the sale from customers they still managed to send my order out soon after I made it. Their customer service is swift and informative. Their packaging is also beautiful and very cleverly designed , with lovely illustrations and colour choices to suit each flavour. I'm really happy with Purition and will definitely continue to buy more of their products.
I bought a selection of Puriton original sachets. I have been looking for protein shakes not full of artificial sweeteners so these fit the bill. A massive plus is they are the only protein shakes that don't trigger my IBS. However there is a big issue with a lack of flavour. If something is labeled as cocoa thats what I should be able to taste! Same with the strawberry. Great that Puriton use freeze dried fruit etc for flavouring but please put a bit more in the mix!
The vegan shakes used to be great in my opinion. Then they changed it to be V2.0 amidst fanfare.But they have killed it - now bitter and sludgy texture. Shame - foolish decision - make the genius who changed it drink it for life.
I absolutely love this product!I find most protein supplements really sickly and full of stuff I don't want and need.I've found the subtle flavours great and filling.I mix mine with greek yogurt, frozen banana or whatever fruit I have, put a handful of spinach in and fill up with water. I dont find texture too much. Haven't had it just in yogurt or as porridge, so can't comment on that, but my way has been brilliant and keeps me on track when heading to office or driving long distances so I don't snack on rubbish.
I love purition...I have it in the morning and often add fresh fruit. also at lunch time on the odd occasions. I actually like to mix it in my shaker where you are left with something to chew as well, yummy. Blending it is smooth without the bits...depends what a person prefers.It has helped me to drop a few pounds and I've not been snacking so much.
This review is based on their customer service - I placed an order to try their sachets and thought I'd try their protein powder as well. Liked that their products seem much healthier than alternative brands. After reading their blog, I realised I'd been taking far too much protein for my weight for the last year (badly advised by a PT). Already had an email saying that my order had been packaged but went on their website to request a return of the protein powder. Had a very nice email from Phillipa saying that she would check if my order had been dispatched yet and if not then would remove and refund the powder. They found and refunded straight away. Obviously haven't tried the sachets yet but if they're anywhere as good as their customer service then I'll definitely be a repeat customer!Edit: My rating definitely still stands & will be ordering on repeat. Had 2 shakes so far (made with ninja portable blender) 1. Macadamia & Vanilla + half banana & skimmed milk: Nice and creamy, very subtle vanilla flavour slightly overpowered by the banana. Got a little bite to it from the seeds which I actually like. Blended & then left for around 4 mins then quick re-blend. Nice and thick.
2. Chocolate & hazelnut + half banana & skimmed milk: Nice and creamy, can taste the slight hazelnut, taste of banana not as strong as no.1 which is nicer. Would have again, prefer this to no.1.The shakes aren't sweet and cloying like other meal replacement ones, the flavours are subtle, not overpowering and all healthy ingredients = win, win!
Received my order, tried 1 sachet and made me vomit. It was awful. Have emailed Purition on their Web page twice now and no-one has got back to me. Terrible product and appalling customer service. Willing to take your money but no back up at all to deal with problems.I received a reply to my email and, I have to say, it was a very positive and helpful one. They are honouring their guarantee, which is wonderful. Just not the product for me, which they understood.Great guys, thank you.
