Review Time
Configured an A90 Fanless i18 for purchase and very pleased with result. Only problem with the configurator is that some components can go out of stock, if one waits for the missing item(s) to come in then another item might then have gone out of stock and so still prevent ordering.After waiting sometime I compromised on my choice of case, and of course my preferred case then came in while the PC was was being built but too late to change.I use the PC as a dedicated machine for Signalyst HQ player, which is very demanding of resources, my PC came with the ASUS TUF Z890-PRO motherboard and the Intel Core Ultra 9 285T with 32GB of RAM. Although the base speed TDP is 35W it uses about 65W when in use with HQ Player and some demanding settings which I could not achieve on my previous PC. After an hours usage with HQ Player it maintained a CPU temp of about 90-92C, not too hot, but I have now added a Noctua case fan to help, this has reduced the CPU temperature to about 86-88C and the fan is completely silent for me.My PC was shipped to France where customs charges were 20% for the VAT (403€) and an admin charge of 21€.
I am delighted with the A50 pc that I ordered, and with the service provided, from advice about components, to sorting out a minor issue. The pc is totally - almost spookily - silent, and plenty quick enough for my needs. Not having the "bloat ware" that comes with most ready built systems is a real bonus.
What a brilliant company, all staff so friendly and helpful. There stock records are accurate so when you select and pay for components you know they have them which is unlike most others. I haven’t bought components for a while and was unsure who to use, however this company is number one now. Very impressed. I asked for advice about what PC would suit my requirements and Andy specified a PC for me and put i tin my basket for me to review and modify as needed. After a few questions, I placed an order which was soon dispatched. I had a few problems which Andy was very helpful in resolving. The PC is execellent, fast and totally silent.
