Having grown up in the area, I've been visiting this shop since my father had a moped. The staff were always friendly, and I loved checking out the bikes. They even let me see their workshop, which was a thrill for me as a kid. Over the years, I've grown close to the team while making my own purchases. I completed a CBT here several years ago but didn't share my experience at the time. It still haunts me. The trainer was rude and often shouted at me. I expressed that I wanted to learn for transportation, but he focused on another student who was more passionate about biking. As a result, the course dragged on for two days, incurring extra costs. Though I received my CBT, I haven't ridden since due to the trauma it caused.
Make sure to document everything, as they may take your money. I’m currently in a dispute with them over non-roadworthy rental bikes. I trusted them, but now I feel deceived. After raising a dispute with my credit provider, I managed to get my money back. I wish I had the time and resources to take legal action. My experience involved multiple issues with the bike, and their customer service was unresponsive and dismissive. I expected a roadworthy bike, not a week of hassle.
My feedback on this business is that it often lacks value for money. During my last visit, my cousin was overcharged, and they even damaged a part of his bike. The cost for a simple service was exorbitant. When he brought this up, the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. He will not return to this business.
