From the first time I messaged heel & toe cars about a car I was interested in buying, they did me a great deal after I explained my situation, and looked after me from the day I messaged right through to the day I picked it up, let me pay in smaller instalments, and a larger payment on collection, car was clean, and respectable, offered to help guide me through to tax it etc, thank you guys at heel and toe, you’ve helped restore so much faith in us buying cars again. Extremely pleasant and no pressure on buying the car, will definitely be back again when we need our next car!
A round trip. I bought a car from H&T and 12 mths later I sold the car, through H&T. Was the car perfect on buying? No- but was it as advertised and as expected, noting their cars are broadly “older”. Yes it was. And that’s the thing. You can see the segment they operate in, so to expect perfection is silly. But to expect integrity isn’t and that is how I describe my experience of dealing with Billy. We agreed stuff, in buying and selling (tyres, alloys, etc) and so it was done. If you’re after a car that offers outstanding value in an age when small cars are £30k, H&T have something for you. Just understand what you’re buying before dipping your toe. Or heel.
I must admit I was a little sceptical about buying a car through Heel & Toe after reading some of the lower star reviews however I had nothing to worry about. My experience has been 100% positive. The communication has been great. I spoke to Billy about my interest in the car, A 1990 Mk1 Golf GTI Cabriolet in paprika red. Arranged to see it the following Tuesday and agreed I'd call on the Monday to confirm. Called on the Monday and spoke to Christian, explained I had a 2hr drive to make and asked him if the car was everything it said in the advert as I'd be pretty annoyed to drive all that way if it wasn't. He assured me it was and went through some of it's maintenance history with me and answered all my questions. I was so impressed I put a deposit on it there and then. Drove down the next day and the car was everything they promised and more. They didn't pressure me, hover or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. They allowed me to take it for a test drive unaccompanied and let me take my time looking over it. They left me and my husband with the car, service book and folder of paperwork to look over and discuss. No hard sell. I decided this was the car I'd been looking for for over a year and purchased it there and then. It did the 2hr journey home like a dream... My arm ached from waving back at all the people waving at me! My mechanic has since looked over the car and gave it a gleaming report. He says it's a fantastic example and a good buy. Thank you so much Billy and Christian, you've made my dream come true. I can categorically say that buying a car with you guys has been without a doubt the most positive car buying experience I have had in my 26 years of driving. I wish you both all the success you deserve with your business.
I purchased a Mercedes earlier this year for a extremely good price, and it was such good value for money. They serviced and MOTd it for me too. Lovely guys to deal with, and their new showroom is gorgeous and full of character, with awesome decorations throughout! Well worth a visit. Cars are getting better and better every month, will be back again.
