Booked a rental car through Expedia for a really great deal (or so it seemed). Later found out it was through another rental company. Don't trust a company name called "rent a wreck". You will get a vehicle that is extremely dented and a complete piece of work. They said I will get money back that they don't use for toll fees, so far I have received nothing ! Weird place and just an f.y.i they don't even rent to Florida residents or people who have a DL from Florida, talk about sketchy
Horrible. Thought Id give it a try. They wanted inflated prices for the toll option, then after showing them my full coverage insurance they looked at it, which was Progressive, and they said insurance not accepted. We never did get a car and was left there trying to figure out what to do. Stay away from this company.
I rented a car at the airport in Miami, and the staff at the counter were extremely rude, particularly one individual who seemed unfriendly to everyone. Their insurance policies are outrageously overpriced, and it feels like they won't let you leave without paying exorbitant fees. I strongly advise against renting from this service, especially in Miami. We also asked to speak with a manager, but they were unavailable.
I would rate this service zero stars if I could. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a car rental service! Our flights were delayed, and we arrived nearly 2 hours late to pick up our vehicle. This trip was an emergency, not for leisure. We were second in line and it took forever to reach the counter, only to find out our car was considered a 'no show' and given to someone else. They offered another vehicle that cost four times our original rental with excessive fees and a $2000 deposit! We had to decline and were still charged a $75 'no show' fee! It's outrageous how they can take advantage of people like this! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this terrible service to anyone! STAY AWAY!

The process was unnecessarily complicated and I ended up waiting nearly an hour. I canceled my reservation because the total cost skyrocketed to almost $500. This service should not even exist. They also impose mileage limits, charging for every extra mile, which is ridiculous. This company is a disgrace to the industry. No traveler should waste their time or money here.

When I returned the vehicle in good condition, I was still charged $500 + tax for a minor scratch that likely happened on the road. This type of damage should be considered minor and shouldn't incur such high charges. Additionally, the forced insurance purchase offers minimal coverage, which adds to the sense of dishonesty. I urge others to carefully review everything before signing and keep all communications documented. I would appreciate a prompt review of this matter and an explanation regarding the charges.
This is the worst rental service, with vehicles in poor condition, hidden fees, and a terrible registration process. They do not inspect their vehicles, putting customers at risk. They are not even cheap. Avoid the stress and choose a more reputable service.
Avoid this service at all costs. Despite providing proof of insurance and confirmation from my insurer that coverage transfers to rentals, I was forced to pay a $20/day 'admin fee' for opting out of their insurance. After completing paperwork, my children and I waited over an hour with no communication, only to have an employee point out a car as if I should have known it was mine. The lobby felt unsafe with questionable individuals loitering, making the experience uncomfortable. No one inspected the car with me; it had several dings which I noted. Upon return, they demanded $500 for a minor scuff that was clearly there at pickup. This is predatory and unprofessional. I encourage anyone with similar experiences to share their story and report this location to corporate and booking platforms.
