I sent a parcel out Stateside, paid almost £100 in shipping, only to realize on delivery that the mail bag i had sent the items in, had been opened and put into a box where half the items were missing. I contacted FedEx multiple times by this only for their response to be 'the package was delivered with no damages'. I will never use this lowlife company again. I'd rather walk my parcel there next time, atleast then you can be sure it was delivered properly.
I recieved my package with the seal broken and tape across it. Well open it up and the box is inside for my packed and the box is empty. I call to report it and I get told they will investigate and made ticket and said if it comes down to it they will give me a refund if they camt locate whats missing. Well 2 hours later I get and email instead of a phone call with no explanation saying the ticket is now closed. Had to call again and get told Well they say your contents were stolen. ( no shit )
Telling me to call the company I bought from to submit a ticket for a refund. Are you kidding me. Obviously there was no investigation to the driver. Lets back track here. My delivery was suppose to be on the 18th. I was outside shovelling and there was a fed ex truck delivering a few doors down and then came my way went passed me to the corner house to deliver. A couple hours later I get an email saying being delivered the 19th cause of weather and was not attempted to deliver. Well I got told that all deliveries for my street for the 18th go on the same truck. Very obvious to me the lady driver opened my package and took my item and purposely made delivery for the next day.
The company I purchased from has rectified the situation and I explained what went on and how I say it was the woman driver.
Also told them not to use fed ex cause they are being scammed.
Next package that comes to my house I will be sitting at my front door waiting for this driver.
Chris delivered my bike today to Bournemouth, Called me before hand to check someone was there, also to say it was 50kg so quite heavy, Then when confirmed my kids will help (Teenagers) sent me a text after saying "Met the welcoming committee and all delivered, Chris"
Top Bloke, made me laugh and was really a pleasure to deal with, Normally drivers are knackered and less interested in chatting - Not Chris, what a legend.
You have an Asset to Fedex there! If only more delivery drivers were as attentive as him.
The courier refuses to even attempt delivery, but I keep receiving a "Sorry we missed you" email notification even when I'm in and sat near my front door.
This is the second time now, and the image the courier uploaded as supposed proof showed a photograph of my front door from the day before when it was daylight
I've only had three parcels "delivered" by FedEx in the past year and none have arrived when they said. I've waited in for parcels only for them not to show and to then be told it won't arrive until the next day, and then you play the game all over again. They shouldn't be allowed to mess people around like this. If you're given a delivery date and time - they should at least make the effort to deliver on that day. Shockingly bad. My heart sinks if I see FedEx is the courier of a parcel.
I want to start by saying that the human support representatives I've interacted with have been excellent, but reaching them is a challenge. I encountered a situation where I was double charged for an import fee, and when I sought help, I spent over 5 minutes arguing with the AI bot just to connect with a human agent. Thankfully, once I reached a human, they were very helpful and apologetic about the situation, successfully assisting me in resolving the double charge. However, the initial process to get to that point was quite disappointing.
FedEx misplaced my phone valued at £900 and then avoided accountability by citing insurance that I could not purchase. This issue arose because FedEx lost my device and subsequently denied any responsibility. I sent a nearly new phone as part of a trade-in with a partner, and after accepting the package and scanning it into their system, it disappeared. Eventually, FedEx officially declared the shipment as LOST. Even though they acknowledged the loss occurred while the package was in their care, they claim the maximum compensation is only £4, arguing that the partner did not pay for extra insurance. The crucial point here is that I was never given the chance to buy insurance myself when I dropped off the package at FedEx.
No options were provided. No disclosures made. No warnings given. So, FedEx accepted a £900 device, lost it, and now hides behind the lack of insurance that I was not given the chance to add at the time of shipping. The situation is appalling.
My phone is missing.
I have not received any reimbursement.
And I am being offered just £4 for a device worth £900. Weeks have gone by with countless emails sent. There has been no accountability. If FedEx loses your package, be aware that you might end up with nothing, even when insurance was not made available. Totally unacceptable.
Disappointed with the service. The drivers seem to be in too much of a hurry, making it difficult to respond in time when delivering to an apartment. My order of perishable items was delayed by a day because the driver rushed off as soon as I opened the entry door. When I scheduled a redelivery for the next day, he had already marked it as undeliverable upon arrival, yet still managed to bring it to my door. It felt as though he had decided against delivering but couldn't avoid doing so. While the support team was helpful, there seems to be a lack of communication between them and the delivery center.
This is undoubtedly the worst parcel service I have ever encountered. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. The application is terrible, and the customer support is equally disappointing. I've reached out to the support team three times, only to receive conflicting information from various representatives. Due to my work commitments, I was informed I could have my parcel redirected to a neighbor, but now I'm being told that's not an option. The website suggests I can have it sent to a shop pick-up point, yet that's not available either. I'm also unable to receive a delivery after 5 PM, even though an email promised delivery before 10 PM. Now, they expect me to drive 100 miles to their depot to collect a package I've already paid for, with no compensation offered. I will be filing an official complaint and canceling my order through the payment platform. I strongly advise against using this service.
I ordered a parcel over TWO WEEKS ago, and despite receiving FOUR messages claiming it would be delivered 'today', it never arrived, wasting FOUR DAYS of my time waiting. I reached out to the service three times, only to be told each time that the parcel was 'on its way'. After more than a week, the seller emailed me to inform that the service had contacted them to say they 'no longer had the parcel'! This was just half an hour after I spoke to customer support, who assured me the package would DEFINITELY arrive that day! The seller sent a replacement last Saturday, and I got an email stating it would arrive (before 6pm) yesterday... but it did NOT (another day wasted!). Now, tracking says it’s due for delivery TODAY but shows an Orange exclamation mark saying 'your shipment may be impacted' (whatever that means), and the location is still listed as Howden, which is far from my area. How a well-known delivery service can repeatedly fail at their core responsibility is beyond me. While we’ve had some bad weather, the first time they received the parcel, it was at a local depot (about 5 miles away). Had I known how poorly they would handle it, I would have picked it up myself! My brother lives in Yorkshire, and the route seems fairly clear. What’s MOST frustrating is the lack of accurate information from the tracking and customer service. If they had informed me of a delay instead of insisting on a delivery, I wouldn't have wasted nearly a week waiting for a package that never arrived! Regrettably, I will NOT be ordering from the same seller again. This experience has prompted me to look for alternatives for similar products (which are quite expensive). I would advise anyone to reconsider using this delivery service based on my experience and the numerous other negative reviews.
