What make me confused is the activation, which I thought was to be in a 2 steps.
1- download the app.
2-activate the ESIM
For me it was automatically activated.

The e-sim was relatively easy to install using the QR code. It connected seamlessly soon as I landed in Germany. I've been using it for 2 days now, and the internet has been working for me quite well. The only time I have lost the connection is when I was indoors in large stores.

The customer service was quite responsive as well on whatsapp. Overall, I am quite satisfied and would recommend based on my experience.

Unreliable Network

Unfortunately, the network offered by Roafly is unreliable. In busy areas like airports or tourist hotspots, the network collapses and becomes unusable. In rural areas, outside of cities, there is no network coverage at all.

Installation was very easy, but poor reception

Installation was very easy. But: reception throughout Costa Rica is fairly poor, even in tourist places such as Manuel Antonio. My husband bought an eSim from Gohub and he had far better reception; we ended up setting hotspots from his phone to mine.

Costa Rica eSIM experiance

In Costa Rica, the service worked okay 4-5 days out of 7 days. In many areas, though signal bar was 3 or 4 with 3G or 4G, there was no internet connectivity. Disappointed with that. This works but not all the time.

I was having two different problems

I was having two different problems, one with maps and the second one with WhatsApp connectivity. In the end looks like it was my fault having an older eSIM in my phone but they helped me promptly with both issues.
