First don't let them up sell you on the the insurance they sell to make the phone repair cheaper it doesn't take effect for the first month. Other then that quick and easy repair service that was not cheap but not to expensive. I would have given 4 star if not upselling useless at the time service but that was on me I admit to a point.
I had my xbox sent to them through Asurian/Verizon home device warrant. My xbox 1 had overheating warnings on the screen, I could turn it on get to the home screen but it shut down in a couple of minutes.
They sent it back to me, the problem was thermal paste reapair. but now the Controller needed to be paired all I see is a back screen with a controller with flashing x button. WTF am I seeing this when this was not an original issue? I shouldnt be pairing a controller on this device when I never had to do so before. UbreakIfix people screwed this up somehow. I refile the claim send it back to them.
I get an automated vague text message from Asuran that xbox is fived and being sent back claining that it is working. I get it back same issue, no pairing controller with device. Claim gets reiled again.
I will keep writing bad review to ubreakifix until this gets resolved.
My xbox series x quit working so i took it to ubreakifix because their add said free diagnosis. The employee at the counter said I had to pay $65 for a diagnosis because they would have to take it apart. After two weeks I had to call them because they hadn't called me. Turned out it had already been fixed but Nobody thought to let me know. All they had to do was reset it which doesn't require being taken apart however they still charged me the $65 diagnosis fee plus an additional $65 to reset it.
Extremely disappointing. I traveled an hour to reach the location before closing time. My phone screen was damaged, and while they had the necessary parts for the repair, they claimed their inventory system didn't reflect it for the claim process, so they couldn't assist. I requested that a representative contact customer service to rectify the inventory issue, but he laughed it off and refused, stating they would be upset with him. There was no willingness to help, and they showed no concern for the distance I traveled. Highly unprofessional, and I would not recommend this location.
Terrible experience. I traveled an hour to reach the location before closing time. My phone's screen was damaged, and although they had the parts available, they claimed the inventory system didn't reflect this for the claim, so they couldn't assist. When I asked a staff member if he could contact customer support to rectify the inventory issue, he laughed and refused, saying they would be upset with him. They showed no concern for my long drive. Extremely unprofessional, and I cannot recommend this location.
I took two laptops in for repair and should have been wary when they quoted high prices and then offered steep discounts if I signed up for their insurance. One laptop was returned a couple of days later, but the same issue recurred within an hour. They kept both machines for almost a month before informing me they couldn't fix either and needed more money for further attempts. I ended up paying $200 just to get back two laptops in the same condition. It was a frustrating experience, especially trying to exit their pointless insurance plan.
I visited this location for a Galaxy phone repair under a warranty service, but the experience was quite frustrating. One technician mentioned he could see my appointment but had no record of the claim and needed a processed claim to proceed, which they never created. Another staff member then told me my appointment was for the following day and asked me to return, without confirming if they could even repair my phone. The lack of clear communication and unpreparedness from the staff was disappointing, especially since they were the only location with the necessary parts.
I called ahead and spoke with a representative regarding my Microsoft Surface Book's swollen battery. He seemed unsure about the parts, so I provided him with the part number I found online. He quoted me $150 for the repair and asked me to bring it in. After arriving, the front desk staff informed me that the manager would quote $250 instead. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I was told the manager's price was final. The manager was dismissive and unhelpful. I was also charged an unnecessary troubleshooting fee. I felt manipulated and will not recommend them.
William delivered outstanding customer service, genuinely caring for my needs beyond just the transaction. He presented alternative solutions and truly exemplified what it means to prioritize customer satisfaction. He deserves recognition for his efforts.
