I fancied a chipper recently, so I went to my local Romayo’s, I got a quarter pounder meal, when I got home the burger had a slightly strange taste but I was starving and thought it was maybe a slightly different sauce than I was used to! BIG MISTAKE…. I was up half the night with stomach cramps and spent half the night sitting on the toilet!!!
Maybe think twice about where you buy your take away in future, I definitely will!!!!

Got a spice box last week which was awful, then last night I got a donor kebab and chips, the donor was freezing the meat was different like rubber strips and the bread was also different it was disgusting. Sad because I have got the donor lots of times and always lovely. The chips that are usually cols and hard where lovely.
Ordered for collection from swords manor and was sold what could only be described as swill. They try to pass off small chicken thighs as chicken breasts. The chips were definitely reheated and while I was asked if I wanted salt and vinegar they opted not to give any. Communicating skills were extremely poor beaten only by non existent quality control and absolutely no customer service. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid
Balgriffin. I don't know how it goes from being one of the best chippers around to being so bad. Romayo were known for their chips but know it's for the wrong reasons. A chemical taste coming from them. I thought it was just a once off but the past 3 times I'm getting the same taste. You need to up your game or you won't have any customers left.

Having lived in Ireland for over 20 years, I can honestly say that I have never tasted better food than what Romayo’s has to offer.If you’re ever passing through, I highly recommend giving them a try—you’ll be hooked and find yourself coming back!
