I had been dealing with sciatica for 5 years before I engaged with Recover Pain, and they have been

I had been dealing with sciatica for 5 years before I engaged with Recover Pain, and they have been really, really awesome. They easily get a 5-star review from me. The whole team (John, Isak, Scotty, and especially Max- whom I call a magician) was incredible, professional, and deeply committed to helping me. Before engaging with them, I had tried so many things, to the point that I had actually booked back surgery for December just in case this program didn't work. The day I called my doctor to say I was canceling my surgery was one of the happiest days of my life.

I was hell-bent and convinced that because I could see the bulge on the MRI compressing the nerve, there was nothing on earth that would "un-bulge" that thing. I thought I had no other way but surgery to remove that pressure. I was convinced my life had changed forever: that I would always have to squat down to pick things up, always wake up with pain, adjust my back and pillow a hundred times during every commute, and never fully enjoy movies because of the long sitting.

But with just three months of engagement with this team, I am living my life as if sciatica was never there. I barely even remember it. I feel normal getting out of bed, I bend forward to pick stuff up like regular people do, I travel, I watch movies comfortably, and for the first time in 5 years, I've started going for my runs again.

Only people dealing with sciatica understand how liberating this feeling is. I wish I had learned about this team earlier, but nonetheless, I am extremely grateful and thankful that my path crossed with theirs.

Apart from their extremely professional and dedicated approach, I found Recover Pain to be the only company I've ever worked with that made my goals, comfort, recovery, and convenience their number one priority. It didn't matter how many calls I scheduled, how many messages I sent, or how many coaches I talked to -nobody kept count. They just all wanted to make sure I was on the path to living my best life ever.

AND they delivered. Actually, "delivered" is an understatement. They changed my life. They gave me completely new ways to think, process, and systematically address and remove pain from my life! I couldn't be more grateful, and I wish more people would find out about them so they can get their lives back too!

Fixed my postpartum back pain

I was super skeptical when I started working with recover pain, but gave it a shot anyways. It was totally worth it! I have my life back again, can lift, walk, run, and move without fear and pain. I graduated the program after 4 months, and am now equipped with the skills to deal with flare ups if they come, a lot of knowledge about pain and how the body works, and a great workout routine. I was 2 months postpartum when I started getting debilitating back pain, I couldnt lift my own kids and had to move in with family. I was desperate to try anything, we spent thousands of dollars on my back. A chiropractor got me walking again after a few days when it was really bad and I was unable to move without excruciating pain. But the lingering pain would not leave! Nothing worked, only gave short term relief, then I’d make my back mad and start the whole cycle over again. RP program was our last resort and I’m so so grateful that it worked. I’d highly recommend it. Big thanks to Scotty, and Isak. You guys are awesome!

Great program!

I love how quickly I was able to start my program with the team. I think it was two days after I spoke with John that I had my first session with Scotty. This is a big investment, but I think the tools you get from it are well worth it. One thing to keep in mind, the coaches will give you the tools, but it is up to you to have the discipline to do the work and get better. This program helps you manage your pain and get back to a functional state, I don't think it's meant to bring it down to a perfect zero. I can now confidently say that I am back to doing a lot of things I didn't do in the past because of the pain.

An incredible experience with Recoverpain

My experience with Recoverpain has been incredible! I had been experiencing lower back pain and sciatica for over 10 years. During that time, I had seen dozens of doctors, physical therapists, tried acupuncture, and multiple injections. Nothing helped! Recoverpain changed all of that.Sebastian was incredible to work with.He is caring, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about dealing with chronic pain. Isak was a great coach, keeping me on task, without being annoying. I felt that I had access to a wonderful team of talented practitioners from around the world. I can’t say enough good things about their approach, and willingness to work with me until I became pain free. I highly recommend their program!

Life-Changing Freedom from 15+ Years of Back Pain

I came to RP Coaching after 15+ years of constant sciatica and back pain episodes. The fear of pain had severely constrained my lifestyle—I avoided long walks, could only wear certain shoes, struggled to stand for long, and was limited to gentle exercise. Now, I am finally pain-free and can do everything! All those constraints are gone. My coach, Sebastian Cilo, was outstanding and provided incredibly personalized service. Isak was right on top of weekly check-ins and tracking progress. This has been a genuinely life-changing experience. Highly, highly recommend RP Coaching!

RecoverPain was an excellent investment in my health and future

Before working with RecoverPain, I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning without pain; I was hunched over and hobbling. Walking, sitting, standing — everything hurt. I thought that I had a serious glute injury from the gym, and I felt hopeless, frustrated, and depressed after years of failed treatments (physio, massage, acupuncture, etc.). I had spent thousands of dollars on “band-aid” solutions, but nothing was working to address my pain.I was a bit skeptical at first, but what made me feel more confident in my decision to proceed with RecoverPain was that the program was based on science and root-cause understanding, not symptom treatment, and my early conversations with the team felt genuine — I felt I was actually being listened to and cared for.My experience working with the team was fantastic. From my first assessment with John, I felt so relieved to have identified that my pain was nerve pain, not a spinal injury. Isak, my accountability coach, was warm, supportive, and checked in with me regularly to ensure I stayed on track. Scotty, my pain coach, was the most important part of my journey to being pain-free. It really resonated with me that he came from an academic background, and his approach is science-based. He was compassionate, supportive and made me feel safe to push myself out of my pain comfort zone. Through Scotty, I learned about neuroplastic pain and the importance of calming the nervous system. Most importantly, Scotty gave me permission to "slow down” and let my body heal.I am now pain-free and back at the gym 4x a week. I can do squats, lunges, and even hip thrusts again — and remain pain-free the next day. I have so much hope for the future, and I am looking forward to staying active, golfing, travelling, and enjoying life without fear.

Thank you!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the RP team from the bottom of my heart!Like so many others, I suffered from sciatica pain for years. It kept getting worse, and everything I tried either didn’t help or made it even worse.I was completely desperate and felt helpless. So I decided to seek help from the team at Recover Pain — and I would never be where I am today without the past nine months. This team truly understands chronic pain. From the very beginning, I felt taken seriously and understood, which quickly allowed me to trust them and fully commit to the process. It was a very exciting journey, and I’ve learned so much along the way. I was supported week after week with so much empathy, respect, and understanding. It’s still an ongoing process, but my quality of life has improved tremendously. Three years ago, I couldn’t do any exercises without experiencing severe pain. I woke up every morning in pain, and gardening was out of the question. And now? My mornings are peaceful, I can work in the garden for hours, and I do strengthening exercises several times a week. This team truly knows what they’re doing and is something very special.Thank you, Sebastian, Matteo, and of course Isak 🙏🏻I already miss you all!

From Despair to Hope

For almost a year, I dealt with painful hips. I walk 3 miles most mornings and the pain was almost unbearable. 3 years prior I was in a car accident where I was told that a disk slightly ruptured in my low back causing me sporadic pain. On top of that my right sciatica nerve seized where I could barely walk. A friend sent me some of the Recover Pain videos on instagram that looked promising. So I stepped out in faith believing that this may be my answer since other avenues failed. Once on board, I was assigned Sebastian as my coach. What is great about Sebastian is that he'd been there with pain. Plus he used to be a Chiropractor and I use to work for two different Chiropractors, so we had a lot in common. Sebastian was so easy to talk with and gave me so much guidance. We'd meet each week and work on my next assignment. The stronger I got, the more I was assigned to accomplish. I also learned that pain is not necessarily physical. That when we carry trapped emotions, those emotions cause pain. As a Christian, this compliments what I've studied and know about trauma. Isak was my cheerleader. He would check on me after my weekly meetings with Sebastian to see how my pain levels were and if I was able to get my homework accomplished. Because I also had a constant emotional situation that was occurring, I was assigned to Scotty. He was able to help me overcome triggers that would cause me great emotional stress. All of this working together has helped me to be about 85 to 90% pain free. I know as I continue what I've learned, that I will be 100%. I'm almost sad to be leaving. I enjoyed working with everyone so much that they all felt like family. I'm thankful for this experience and how wonderful I now feel.
