Review Time
Buyer beware. In September 2025 I ordered 2 Sabers from their website, the Purolator tracking information I was provided never showed any information. After 1 month of not receiving the product and tracking information showing nothing, I contacted SaberX. I was given some explanation about how they shipped through another carrier who would "hand off" to Purolator and to be patient. After a period of time with no product or tracking update, I followed up weekly and was give answers ranging from that they would follow up with other departments or the third party carrier.
After about 3 months of not receiving the product or any tracking information, I requested refund, I was first told that the order had "shipped" so they were unable to cancel. After more follow ups, I was offered either a 50% refund and keep item (not acceptable as the item wasn't arriving) or to return the item for 100% refund when it arrived (also not acceptable as clearly the item wasn't arriving).
I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back after about 3.5 months. SaberX ignored the Paypal dispute process entirely.
I was charged for an accessory that was supposed to be free and I was sent someone else’s returned saber. I tried contacting SaberX multiple times by phone and by email. Although their automatic responses said they would contact me within 10 business days, they have not.
After inputting all my personal information, like credit card, address etc. The saber was purchased, and then took 3 weeks to ship, upon arrival in my home town it says that the "The Address was incomplete" and it failed to be delivered. Instead of me being contacted, the saber was shipped back to Ontario, I spent money on the saber, it failed to arrive, now I am without $300 and a saber. I have not received communications back from saberX OR the postal service.
I just wish they'd used FedEx or something instead of Canada post cause how can the website say 3 business days if Canada post are on strike, maybe don't state 3 business days if you're using Canada post when on strike. So it took at least 3 weeks. The checkout did not say it would be Canada post.
I purchased the $99 Mystery Box the last week in October and with not knowing which hilt would be in the box I was a bit concerned which one would arrive. I received the Droid Saber and upon assembly and testing it out I’m quite pleased with the quality and how it performs. On the actual product I would rate 5/5 for price and quality. Where saber X loses a star on their review, well the communication is lacking. I emailed them for tracking info and got no response, tried again about 5 days later and still crickets. Finally after 10 days since my first email they responded asking me to contact their customer service department. Overall all I’m happy with the purchase and will likely shop again but really would appreciate better communication. May the force be with you.
