Long-time shopper's experience marred by poor service

I've been a loyal customer for many years, and I would rate the company five stars overall. However, my recent experience with an employee in the deli was extremely disappointing. I was looking for a whole chicken on sale and noticed the employee was busy. I asked where the whole chickens were, and he told me to wait. After a few minutes of waiting without any assistance, I raised my voice to get his attention, but he ignored me. When he finally approached, I asked for his name, and he rudely refused to provide it, telling me to leave if I didn't like it. I was infuriated and insisted that he treat me like a customer. After sharing my experience with the cashier, I learned that others have faced similar issues with this employee. Thankfully, the customer service representative handled the situation well, apologizing and offering me a discount. While I appreciate the resolution, the initial encounter was unacceptable. The company should reconsider employing individuals who display such poor customer service, as it negatively impacts the shopping experience. Despite this incident, I still value the company and hope they address this issue.

Five stars for the store, but a serious issue with an employee

I've been a loyal customer of the store for years, which is why I’m giving it five stars. However, I had a terrible experience with an employee in the deli. I was trying to find whole chickens on sale, but he was dismissive and rude. After waiting a long time, he refused to give me his name or assist me properly. The cashier eventually helped me and apologized for my experience, but this employee needs to be addressed. I love the store, but this behavior is damaging.

Prime rib leaking juices

I ordered a prime rib for dinner through a delivery app, but it was poorly packaged with the green beans. The plastic on the prime rib was ripped, and the green beans were contaminated with meat juice. This is unacceptable. The company needs to improve their bagging techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper packaging of meat.

Issues with overcharging at the store

At this location, I've started checking my receipts after noticing multiple overcharges during my last few visits. The wait times are excessive, often with only two lanes open, and today, even kids waiting for lunch had to endure long lines. I experienced another overcharge and received poor customer service when I brought it up. This is unacceptable, especially with tight budgets. I will continue to check my receipts as this has become a frequent issue.

Quality of produce needs improvement

During checkout, I noticed my grapes were squished and leaking juice. When I asked the cashier about it, she dismissed my concerns, stating they didn’t look moldy. This is disappointing, as I expect better quality from the store.

Discrimination against those in need

I signed up for a delivery service but discovered that the discounts only apply to in-store purchases. This is unfair to customers who rely on delivery, and it should have been made clear before signing up. This experience has led me to reconsider my loyalty.

Gift card issue not resolved

I purchased a gift card only to find it had already been used. The store conducted an investigation but informed me that they wouldn’t refund it directly.
