It automatically generates reviews for websites and uses a system which doesn't make any sense. Scores change constantly but are always bad and make legitimate websites out to be scams. When pointing this out to the company they do not reply to emails or any form of contact. The only scam here is their website.
I noticed that BREW THE BLEND (brewtheblend.com) had a low score, so I contacted their team for an update. They requested the appropriate documents to verify that the business was legit. After the verification process, they immediately contacted me to let me know that it had ended. I admire their commitment to client excellence, making sure the websites are what their owners inform them they are. Thanks for your help. Internet crime, scam sites and the like is a huge problem and it's not always easy to differentiate a legitimate as trustworthy within the flood flood of scams. Scam detector does an excellent job to validate companies that are legit - I was impressed by their thorough assessment and the extent of information required before giving their stamp of approval. As a webmaster I got surprised when one of my clients was upset about his site (that I made for him) was “listed as a scam site on internet” (By scam detector). As I definitely don’t understand what is their methodology I investigated further by testing many sites I know well as I built them (and I insist, I am a webmaster, when I build a site, my main concern Is all you don’t see behind the design). all of them met a nasty “review” from scam detector (rated : 58% maybe a scam).I will tell you about my methodology to be clear. but first I want you to ask yourself a few questions about this allegedly scam detector site :This is how they sell their tech:Our robust validator tool confidently provided this 58.8 rank due to an intelligent algorithm created by our specialists.Now let me ask : 1 “Our” Who is behind the “our robust validator” : Trust me bro? 2 “an intelligent algorithm” what is the methodology of this intelligent algorithm? 3“created by our specialists.” what kind of specialists? Marketing?Yes Marketing it is, just marketing. There is no reputable web-security agency behind scam detector, it is linked to Product Vessel - An Initiative By Entrepreneurs For Entrepreneurs. Scam detector is just a big misleading landing page/add for product vessel.And the funniest part is that scam detector will refuse to scan their own creators site (you’ll find the link at the bottom of the se called scam detector page), which says it all!Okay I stated my case, nowI checked a dozen sites of my making with scam detectors :3 were in production, well made, websites and reputable that are in production since a few years without any kind of issue.2 in production, fast made, websites that I built for stingy clients6 at various stage of conception.They all ranked the same, in production / still building / old NDD / new NDD / fully secured wit headers and sh.. / semi botched projects : They all get a 58ish “grade” from the so called scam detector.I tested other sites not made by me (You never know) but other agencies : More or less the same.In conclusion, I’d say, trust security agencies / Security software when it’s about security, Trust Marketing agencies when it’s matter of selling you anything!
