I had my site listed as a potential scam, but after reaching out to Scam Detector staff and explaining what the site is all about, I had my site re-evaluated in just a few hours. They were also very friendly.
Garbage.
This site is a reputation destruction site.
I reviewed my business site and it returned a very low score. This despite the fact that the site does not ask for anyone to enter any information OR ask for any money.
It is purely a presentation of information, information which does provide details the report says it doesn't.
Including director/owner contact details company registration details (including a link to see details of the company available on the Companies House website (official UK Government site)), and the VAT registration number.
The report clearly shows that whoever "trained" the sites Artificially Stupid agent knew nothing about UK businesses (or perhaps any business).
This application shows the major flaws in the so called miracle of AI.
This company is beyond ridiculous and absolutely slanderous. It doesn't make any sense!!! I have just noticed that this slanderous company gives our website a medium to low score without giving any evidence of their slanderous claim. It claims that we have proximity to scam websites which can be as far from truth as possible, again without providing any evidence of that. They are so absolutely ridiculous and untrustworthy that they even claim that our telephone number and thus our company is in Cayman islands, which is an absolute annoying lie since as anyone can very easily verify, we are located in Greece since the stablishment of our sewing supplies business in 1971 and we never in our long history we had any business presence or activity in the Cayman Islands. They even seem to doubt our long standing as suppliers of the Fashion and Apparel sector and specially of fur and leather manufacturers having served thousands ofsuch businesses for more than 50 year!! I cannot really understand what is the real purpose of their dispeakable, most definitely inacurate slanderous claims but ther is no doubt that scam-detector.com is so scam itself that I am wondering how they are allowed to operate!!

I had initially given a low rating after finding out my website was flagged as a scam. However, after reaching out and supplying the necessary evidence, they responded within a day and corrected my rating. Just a heads-up, there seems to be an issue with certain domains where the Whois information isn't automatically detected. If your domain shows no registration date but the details are available in Whois, make sure to contact them with a screenshot. I hope this information is helpful to others.
I sincerely hope others don't rely on this platform to check my own, as it poorly identifies legitimate websites. I searched for various sites, and all were flagged as scams despite being genuine businesses. My own site has incorrect information, suggesting their AI performs poorly by matching unrelated data. Furthermore, they ask for excessive personal information to clear your name, which feels quite suspicious.
Discovered that our website's rating was unexpectedly low due to incorrect categorization. I contacted the support team and received a prompt response with a solution for the rating. If you represent a legitimate business and believe you've been misclassified, don't hesitate to get in touch with them!
It's intriguing how those giving 5-star ratings seem pleased with the speed at which the service processed their information and modified their ratings. Naturally, that’s the goal. When the product is free, you essentially become the product. They request your name, personal email, social media links, and so on. Now, your data is stored in their database and can be marketed.
