I had a very troubling experience with a certain website. Our site received a score of 10/100, and shortly after, we were approached and asked to pay £60 for a “re-evaluation” of our score. It was suggested that without this payment, the negative label would remain. This situation raises significant ethical issues. In my view, trust and credibility should never be contingent on payment. Users and businesses should exercise caution and conduct their own research before depending on such ratings.

Such practices unfairly damage reputations and pressure businesses to pay to correct misinformation. If you’re a shopper, avoid relying on this platform for legitimacy checks. Instead, refer to official business listings and trusted customer reviews. If you’re a business, be cautious of potential coercion to pay for rating improvements.
The ratings provided by this platform starkly contrast those from reputable sources. Their AI uses arbitrary criteria unrelated to the services claimed. It makes inaccurate assumptions and presents them as facts, penalizing legitimate websites for required legal disclaimers while ignoring illegal sites. Reviews are outdated, positive feedback is removed, and complaints about criminal operations are disregarded, even with credible evidence. Currently, the platform displays ads for a scam device, which is unfortunate for those misled by the 'TrustScores' it provides.
