⚠️ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MARKETING COMPANY – Extremely BAD Experience
We hired this company on April 30, 2025, for a six-month SEO and digital marketing agreement and paid $6,500 upfront. What followed has been one of the most frustrating and damaging business experiences we’ve had.
Before signing, we provided full backend access so they could properly evaluate our website. They confirmed the site was in good, workable condition and recommended removing what they described as unnecessary plugins. However, shortly after they began work, their actions—including removing and modifying critical plugins—caused serious damage to our website’s functionality, performance, and search visibility.
Since their involvement:
* Website rankings dropped significantly
* Organic traffic declined
* Domain/authority score decreased (≈3 points)
* The website began crashing multiple times per week
* Leads and revenue were negatively impacted
At the same time, the services we paid for were simply not delivered.
They promised:
* Blog articles and SEO content
* High-authority backlinks and placements
* Technical SEO improvements
* Ongoing reporting
During the sales process, they specifically referenced high-authority platforms (including well-known sites like USA Today) where they claimed they would publish content and secure backlinks. None of this was delivered. No meaningful content was published, link-building efforts were not evident, and reporting was inconsistent or nonexistent.
Nearly one year later, the work completed does not reflect even one month of the agreed scope.
Project management and communication were equally disappointing. Deadlines were consistently missed, accountability was lacking, and follow-up was poor. Attempts to escalate to supervisors or management resulted in little to no response.
Additionally, this company had full administrative control of our website for approximately one year. Given the ongoing instability, crashes, and performance decline during that time, there are serious concerns about how the site was managed. If any security or malware issues are present, it raises further concerns about oversight while under their control.
Their agreement includes a money-back guarantee for lack of measurable improvement, as well as a pro-rated refund policy. Despite the clear decline in performance and failure to deliver services, this issue remains unresolved.
Overall, this situation has caused significant financial harm to our business. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend extreme caution before engaging with this company.

Here I'd like 2 leave feedback 4 Searchberg who was hired in 3/2025. I wasn't only cheated & was taken advantage of my trust & patience, but he deliberately sabotaged my health with utter dismissal & greed. I wanted them 2 bring N clientele 2 my website because I didn't have the knowledge & skills 2 use Google ads on my own. I clearly stated my budget & my goals. They agreed according 2 what I presented them upon first online discussion using their messaging portal. They agreed that within the first month & certainly by the second month I would have clientele! In fact, Within the first 3 to 6 months I would had earned the costs that would had accrued over that time. It would had been up 2 $9,000 according 2 the email that as sent 2 me. I didn't expect that much but that was what was stated. From the beginning, I'd warned them that I wouldn't have enough money 2 even pay for the continued services . If I did not have enough money to continue, how to make money & y given him that money!? Is that how u do business?! He purposely allowed that money 2 run out. I asked him about that and he never gave me a clear answer but I was already months in that I didn't want 2 quit 4 those were wondering. They too insisted that I'd need an update on my design 2 enhance the look of the front page. I was very reluctant in agreeing 2 this because the price was 2 expensive ($1,500). I didn't feel that I needed it & I already liked what I had myself. Nevertheless, I'd paid the money & the first payment of $1,000 4 the actual keyword listing. I know what I had told him because my health status, months of unemployment, being a caretaker in a foreign country, mortgage & much more. I needed those earnings for the reasons above. If he couldn't handle the tasks then it would had been important that he declined the opportunity or been honest & allow me to decide. Otherwise, he would B responsible should he delay & take advantage of me being in China or understanding. Lots of details in how he lied R revealed N the emails. 5 months have gone by b4 I finally gave up. I had paid 6 months' worth of time. In that time, I had been stood up 4 of the 5 times that we agreed 2 do a zoom meeting 4 direct communication without delay for I had informed the company that I didn't understand much of what was explained several time. He did a method completely different than what was agreed up or at least much slower than what was promised. And if the site wasn't live b4 2 months, then Y change me again 4 the 2nd month upon payment when the payment 1st month 4 live shouldn't have started until the beginning of the 3rd month up on payment? I say this because during those two months they were already paid the $1,500 that they insisted having. It isn't my fault that they were so slow & they admitted that they were so slow. So they avoided having live meeting with me. In other words, Y pay for live the 2nd month live when it didn't start until the end of the month into the 3rd month? Again Searchberg stated that up 2 $9,000 would B returned on my investment n his email that was given upon the initial payment of $2,500. The total amount paid was $4,500 & not a single sale was made in all of that time. Two experts even informed me that the design was faulty upon inspection! So, that was $1,500 wasted from the get go. He knew my situation was. Bcause of that my joints are deteriorating to the point that I can't even walk properly. I just need some corrective surgery & other needs but it might B 2 late. Now I can't obtain a lawyer 4 many reasons at the moment. This should be a crime 2 knowingly ruin a person's health & that of the person's love-1 in addition 2 stealing my money, However it looks like that I won't make it because of the reasons below: I. My joints R deteriorating fast & I'm not even old. I just have hyper-mobility but will worsen if I can't correct it soon. II. My bank balance is below $-700. It is his fault & I can't replenish it. III. I can't make online purchases 4 a while. IV. I can't get the money 2 go 2 courtV. Other medical problems I can't treat Bcuase of this. VI. Countess hours wasted on both sending 100s of emails & filling out useless forms & "approvals." They didn't approve of my website & still charged me money anyway & it was a failure and working on this complaint. VII. Over a $150 N mailing and printing evidence for the claimVIII. I am out of the money that was legally stolen from me. IX. The $1,000 spend on Shopify wasted! X. I can't workout & have fun because of this not to mention being in pain and gaining weight!Disclaimer:I have proof of my claims. They did a good work 4 others doesn't given them the right 2 harm me. This is deliberate cruelty. I had warned him & tried 2 work with them. I haven't violated any rules. Please don't take this down. I have asked you and there was no reply. I highly recommend this company. As a small business I had an issue with my google business listing and from a customer I was referred to Search Berg.
