Having attended three previous events that were fantastic, I was truly let down by this one. It was overcrowded and confusing, with long waits for activities and unclear missions. If this is the direction the service is heading, I would advise avoiding future events.
I rated this service four stars mainly due to their dynamic pricing approach. Earlier this year, I purchased tickets as a birthday gift for £69 each, choosing standard tickets since it was my first experience with this type of event (though I still don't grasp what makes it secret). To my dismay, when I checked the website yesterday before the event, I saw that ticket prices had dropped to £49! When I contacted the service, they cited dynamic pricing and declined to offer a refund. This initial experience, unfortunately, left a negative impression on me. On a brighter note, the event itself was executed impressively, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

The props and setting were fantastic, creating a really fun atmosphere. The actors performed brilliantly in various scenes. However, I found the overall production to be disjointed. The movie wasn't loud enough to hear clearly. The performers were scattered throughout a large space, making it difficult to engage with the action since they were often too far away. It was confusing whether to focus on the movie or the live performances. It would have been better if the performers were on stage like in a traditional theatre, allowing everyone to feel more connected to the show. The food prices were outrageous; three burgers and drinks cost £70. I should have gone to a fast-food place beforehand for better value. There weren't enough seats for standard tickets, and even the VIP seats seemed far from the action. My son was bored, and we ended up leaving halfway through to enjoy the fairground outside, where we could sit and hear the movie better. Would I attend another event like this? Probably not.
Having previously attended other events, I had high expectations for this one, but I was quite disappointed. The charm of earlier shows was that you were immersed in the film from the start, interacting with actors and completing tasks, then sitting to enjoy the entire film. This time, the film was interrupted by the cast, and the actor portraying the lead didn't do justice to the character. There were too many screens and VIPs on stage, creating confusion about where to focus, and there was nowhere to sit. The venue felt overcrowded. The prices for food and drinks were excessive (£6 for a can of soda). In past experiences, phones were kept away, but this time, many attendees had their phones out, ruining the atmosphere. It's apparent that the service has changed hands and has lost its original charm.
I was really let down after encouraging friends to attend this event, especially since I had such fond memories of the first production years ago. Like others have mentioned, it seems to have lost its magic. The tickets were pricey, and the refreshments felt like a rip-off. Overall, it felt more like a tacky convention. I won’t be attending another event like this again; it was disappointing.
I attended this event and found it quite disappointing compared to previous ones. The experience felt less engaging, likely due to the change in management. The fairground rides were an extra cost despite the high ticket price, leaving little to do during the long wait before the show. The main actors struggled with their performances, and the film's audio was hard to hear. It was often unclear where to focus, as the film would stop abruptly for live performances scattered throughout the venue. The lack of clear direction made it feel chaotic. I didn’t find it immersive at all, and seating was inadequate. I noticed burnt pizzas and dry burgers while I was there. Overall, the event felt poorly organized and lacked the magic that made previous experiences special.
This was my fifth experience, and it was incredibly disappointing. There was minimal interaction with cast members at the fairground, leaving us to wander around and spend on overpriced drinks and food. Each guest received one fairground ride ticket, but most rides required multiple tickets. We had standard tickets, but the pricing seemed inconsistent. Inside, seating was limited. While the performers worked hard, the overall event felt lackluster, which is surprising for a show like this. I was particularly frustrated by the VIPs who received special attention while we waited for our turn. This experience has left me feeling disheartened; I likely won’t return.
After attending three previous events, I left feeling extremely disappointed. There was no email directing us regarding character roles like in previous experiences. Upon entering, there was a lack of staff guidance, which caused confusion. The cast members were not in character, and the fairground lacked engagement with attendees. Many guests weren't in costume, which may reflect the lack of encouragement from the organizers. The VIP seats were comfortable but placed far from the stage, and only a portion of the film was shown, adding to the confusion. It felt like the service was more focused on profit than creating a magical experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
