I treated my football mad son to a secret match day for his birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Imagine our delight to be given an AC Milan match at the San Siro stadium - one for the bucket list. The organisation was fantastic - the destination guide gave everything we needed from flights / transfers / hotel etc. so well organised and I can’t wait to go on our next secret match day. Had a fantastic weekend in Holland to see the mighty Feyenoord. The whole process was extremely simple, and the guide they give you is honestly so useful. Feyenoord fans were super friendly… and loud. I think I’ve got the bug now 😆 I’ll definitely be doing another one of these again soon. Take a bow, SMD team!
I have had 3 secret match days trips so far and every time they seem to get better and better. Such an easy process and the people at secret match day are always so helpful over any queries. I have my fourth secret match day next month and I can’t wait for it.
Excellent. The team from when you place the order to received keep you up to date. The travel guide is very well put together. We went to Antwerp and location of hotel was ideal for everything. Went with 2 teenage kids and they enjoyed the experience. Well worth it for anyone looking to getting away from the normal Premier league experience.
Group of seven of us flew from Dublin. I was the only one to find out our destination prior to the airport - Poznan. Customer service from Ronna et al in lead up to trip was top class and had no issues while there. Lovely city, accommodation perfectly fine for a lads’ weekend. The match itself? We were in with the Lech Poznan Ultras in Il Kalciol - The Cauldron. Not for the feint-hearted and a word of warning to future visitors - they’re not very welcoming to filming and photography in this stand, to say the least! Lost 2-1 but witnessed a worldie bicycle kick opener from the visitors. Great value really and a brilliant weekend. I’d do one every weekend if I could. Already planning next year’s.
Great weekend! Everything was great except maybe the match ticket! We were out right in with ultras in poznan. We were intimidated by the locals who kept coming up to us saying stuffing polish giving out to us for not singing, not clapping, or taking videos when we shouldn't have! An experience definitely!
Had a great matchday experience in Belgium. We were based in Brussels as we were initially supposed to go to an Anderlecht fixture. Unfortunately, due to European competition commitments, the fixture was postponed at very short notice. Secret Matchday were very quick to arrange tickets for another match and we ended up going to see Royal Antwerp instead. Match experience was very enjoyable and we got to see a home team victory despite them being down to ten men. Accommodation was spot on and was situated in a convenient, central location. The information guide provided was very helpful.
Had a great trip with my son. It is the first time we've done a trip like this and Secret Matchday didn't disappoint. We were sent to Brussels for the weekend and went to watch an Anderlecht match. Hotel, city guide and the communication provided by Secret matchday was great and the game wasn't bad either, 5 goal thriller. We will definitely be booking another trip with this company.
