I signed up for a seller account. It said I wouldn't be charged the $39.99 for a Pro account because I am an individual Seller. I was only supposed to be charged $1 per sale. I had a debit card listed that would not accept a $1.15 charge. I thought maybe that was a test charge to see if the card worked. They locked my account with a message that said "Invalid Charge Method". I wish I would have ran as fast as I could at that point. I ended up connecting another card and I was immediately charged $39.99. I tried to contact Support immediately with no luck. I waited a few hours and when I logged back in, I got the same message again stating "Invalid Charge Method" even though it wasn't an invalid charge method because they took money. I have been on the phone with them for hours, and also on chat. They keep giving me the run around. Now, I can't sell anything because my account is locked and they told me I can't get a refund until my account is unlocked. This is criminal! I see all of these bad reviews. I can't believe they can get away with this! We should all should file a complaint with the FCC and the the Supreme Court.

I never ever leave reviews but Amazon Seller is probably one of my worst ever experiences with a company. I originally opened an account late December and was charged a fee of £35 to open the account, I later found out that I could downgrade to an Individual Seller account (0.75p per sale) rather than a monthly fee, which sounded better for me as I was new to selling. Amazon downgraded this for me and kindly refunded the fee (sounded great). I then noticed my fees per sale went up, I was selling items for £9.45 and receiving a £2.31 fee, so overall 25% when the fee on jewellery is supposed to be 15%. Then had to pay postage after this. Assumed this was including the 0.75p additional charge but this would even still be too high. Due to these charges, I’ve been making around £2 profit per sale on this particular item. Everything else that I have tried selling requires verification so doesn’t seem worth it to be honest. I then get a letter with my charges for my MONTHLY fee, despite being told my account had been downgraded when I opened it. When querying these charges, all they tell me is that they are unable to refund. I have spent hours trying to chase this up. Have sent proof of my original conversation with Amazon and the refund of the original fee, to be told that my account was never downgraded. The customer service team are the worst I’ve ever spoken to, some of them tell me I’m on an individual plan, some of them tell me I’m on a professional plan, every time I speak to somebody they are rude and give me a different answer. I also queried why I was being charged 25% fees per sale on top of a £30 monthly fee and they were unable to provide any proof of what these fees were. They said they were “other fees” but were unable to tell me what. Baring in mind, I have been selling these for a very small profit and now being told I owe Amazon £30 for a monthly fee I downgraded from when I opened the account, they don’t care about the proof that I’ve provided or care at all.
As a seller on Amazon.ca for over two years, I have nothing good to say about them and it's getting worst day by day, This platform is designed to benefit only the amazon and the only thing offered to sellers are HOPE and FEES, stay a way and don't waist your time learning this purposely complicated made platform which only benefits Amazon for your confusion, They will charge you beyond your control for everything like over stock or not having enough stock, return fees, coupon fees, FBA storage fees,,,,, extremely expensive advertising (like $2 a click for a $ 12 item) and you may sale one after 20 klicks and if one returns you must pay back ten fold as much as you received for one sale, and many other fees, I have not been able to see a single penny as profit for over two years being here and now will close my account very soon, if you like to try it stay with individual and avoid professional account and advertising at any cost , on top of all that very incompetent customer service which acts like a machine that has no power to say anything to protect the customer, but they will do anything to please buyers with your money and stock if a customer complain for no good reason they can keep the product and get a full refund while you pay for all fees and revers transaction plus all disposal fees. now you know how they make money with poor sellers investment, I hope soon they pay back ten fold, Thanks Mr. Boozoo for this scam operation.
We tried to become an active seller on Amazon via Seller Central, but the experience has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.We invested a lot of effort into setting up and configuring our account properly, but Amazon’s endless rules, restrictions, verification steps, and unclear requirements make it almost impossible to move forward. No matter what we do, we keep running into new obstacles and are unable to get everything working correctly.The interface is confusing, settings are hard to find, and the whole process feels unnecessarily complex. Instead of helping new sellers get started, it feels like you are constantly blocked by systems and procedures that are difficult to understand and even harder to solve.We’ve been selling successfully on bol.com for years, and compared to that platform, Amazon Seller Central is far less user-friendly and much more complicated.Unfortunately, after spending so much time and energy, we decided not to continue selling on Amazon.
Amazon will not disburse our funds. We have earned over $12,000 selling online products with Amazon pay and after a full month of support tickets, they will not give us our money! TOTAL GARBAGE SERVICE. AMAZON PAY and Seller Central are complete trash. Their actions are illegal and they do not care. You can follow up 30 times, but they never have a solution or an answer. They always refer to their internal team who also never contacts you and does nothing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AMAZON PAY.
Absolutely horrible experience. Been selling on eBay and whatnot for years and never seen incompetent people like this. I have asked for months to close my seller account and remove my credit card because I was being charged 39.99 a month when my account was inactive. I called spoke with a supervisor after 1hr and thought I resolved it but no, the next month I got charged again. Called again today spoke with a supervisor that has zero clue how to remove my card or help close my account down. Amazon has a lot of fraudulent activity going on which is overlooked because of the mass quantities/transactions happening. Still no resolution to this issue
Horrible experience. We tried to set up an Amazon Seller Account for over 4 weeks. They charged us $39.99 and made us jump through many, many hoops - providing proof for every and anything. Throughout the process, support was nonexistent - repeating requests over and over without offering any solutions or solving the repeated problems we ran into. It was as if we were being assisted by an AI assistant. The errors and bugs were never solved - we never got to post our products. Steer clear, it is a massive waste of time and it cost us $40. Bookshop ,eBay, or other sellers' websites are more likely to be a better choice.
Bought dashcam which stopped working month before warranty ended. Jumped through technical support hoops to be told by manufacturer they had authorised izilla to replace item. Izilla then had me go through same hoops and then told me to get refund from amazon and buy a replacement.
