Laura is wonderful. She brings fantastic knowledge, professional expertise and (above all) lived experience. She is really positive and inspiring, and yet so amazingly down to earth and approachable. She gets it! Her course is full of practical approaches that make a huge difference to managing your everyday challenges in supporting your neurodivergent child. It is also very validating, and compassionate at its core.
I also did a 1:1 session with Laura, and found this hugely beneficial - not only for bespoke advice, but also for extra support during a particularly challenging time. She really cheered me on, and that gave me the strength to keep going!

I’m so glad I came across Laura’s…

I’m so glad I came across Laura’s workshop. I was at the end of my tether wondering what was wrong with my 4 year old, after the first session I let out a sigh of relief to finally understand what was happening. The way Laura breaks it down and explains is so reassuring, and I actually feel like I’m not failing any more. Thank you!

Accessible, helpful and Insightful!

I just wanted to share how incredibly helpful I’ve found the PAUSE method which I turned to it when I realised I wanted to start thriving in my life and in my relationship with my son, rather than just surviving. I knew I needed some support and guidance to help turn things around and I’m so glad I found this course. The short sessions are really accessible and clearly explained. Laura breaks everything down so well, and it’s given me a much deeper insight and understanding of some of the struggles I’ve been having with my 10-year-old son. The course has helped me see things far more clearly from his perspective and understand the importance of recognising that his responses to difficult situations are physiologically mediated and not something he is choosing. I've learned that by supporting him rather than reacting, I can help prevent situations (and my own response!) from escalating which has been incredibly powerful. I now feel equipped with practical, compassionate responses that I can use in the moment. I know I will continue to revisit this course and will need to keep reminding myself of the lessons I’ve learned. I’m truly grateful for the understanding, reassurance and tools it’s given me as I continue to move forward on my journey of thriving and building a stronger, more connected relationship with my son.

Knowledge and strategies from a Mum who's lived it!

I bought Laura's method as I am currently struggling with behaviours in two of our children with very different sensory needs. I'm an Occupational Therapist and although I'm aware of sensory processing and the challenges this presents..Having someone give knowledge while also sharing their experience with empathy and compassion, has been a real encouragement to me. A great resource! Thank you 👍

Pause method - great resources

Laura is so knowledgable with both professional and personal experience which makes her so relatable! She has put together such a fabulous resource to work through and help to understand my children's behaviours and emotions and even more importantly help me to reflect on how I can support my child. I would recommend the Pause method to all parents struggling with meltdowns. There's so much included in the pack, workbooks, short videos breaking down the method into manageable chunks, opportunities to reflect and quizzes to check understanding. I would also recommend following Laura's social media for reminders and bite size advice that is so relatable to many of us in similar positions. I've been checking in with the Finding me programme too and loving the reminders to take the moments for me too. Definitely a mental health check in with myself, which is overdue and very needed now and again!

I had so many “penny drop” moments…

I had so many “penny drop” moments throughout the free masterclass. Everything was so well explained and followed up with excellent ideas on how to move forward. So thankful I found her page.

Very Informative and easy to understand

Laura's Pause method is really informative and easy to understand, she breaks it down into easy steps and explains it in a way that no one ever has before making it easier for us parents to understand what our children are going through and what it feels like for them when they are in meltdown. Laura is also extremely kind with her time, often sending e-mails and responding personally when you may be struggling. Thank you Laura
