Local beaches, pubs and cafes all good and Clifden makes a good base. The shop in nearby Ballyconneely is good for all basic needs and very friendly. There are several "loops" to drive near Clifden with spectacular views. Some interesting oddities also - try the Smokehouse nearby to learn how fish is prepared.
This is a real gem of a property - we cannot rate it more highly. It was clean, well-equiped and thoughtfully designed - a real home from home. Geraldine, Killian and Buddy were brilliant hosts and could not do more for you. A truly exceptional place to stay.
