We loved our week there, everyone was sad to leave.The caretakers were so helpful and genuinely nice people.Yes it needs a make over but if you have children it is relaxed and basic and yet comfortable .O' Sullivans Bar in Crookhaven is a must for sea food and crack .Ballydehob is a lively spot with a great place called Levis music bar .They serve food at the weekends that casual and tasty.The walks around Mizen Head are breath taking.Shamrock cottages were so professional to deal with, they are always quick and helpful to reply to ones questions.They could be more familiar with the properties the offer to let.Holiday in West Cork is hard to beat .We enjoyed our stay in Dunmanus House and have no hesitation to recommend it .
Everything was great. The house was well-equipped and comfortable. It is just a short stroll to everything Westport has to offer and also has easy access to the walking trail network. Grocery and convenience stores are just 3 minutes away. The larger-than-normal refrigerator and separate washer and dryer were especially nice since we were there for a 2-week stay. On street parking was always available within 50 meters, if not right out front. I will strongly recommend this house to my friends.
Great cottage in delightful location. Owners very helpful and welcoming.Booking could be improved by making it easier to compare different options. Changing dates or number of nights meant going back to square one each time.Once we had decided on a choice, booking and arrival were easy.
This cottage was just perfect for our stay on the Dingle Peninsula. The view over the bay (and the incoming weather) is fantastic. It is very handy for Inch Beach which is wonderfully expansive. The local pub is great for a simple meal. The house has everything you could need and has plenty of space. Of note is that the description of the house states that there is a ground floor bedroom but in fact all of the bedrooms bathroom and living space is ground floor and there is no need to make use of the spiral stairs in the photographs at all
