Wanted a refund for my 2TB lifetime membership and encryption. By the 30 day refund policy, I was eligible and promised to get a refuns within 5-7 days. I got a response on February 14th and now it's March 2nd with no refund still. Do not recommend dealing with this service.
I purchased 500GB of disk space from the service a couple of years ago, and now I see that I only have 65GB free on both the app and my hard drive. Suddenly, I can't upload anything to the platform, and all my song lyrics have disappeared. The company insists that my storage is full. This feels like a scam because I cleared out heavy programs to create more space, and I've received no response to my email. It seems like they are pressuring customers to buy more space by misleading them. Their app shows my available storage, and my computer confirms that I do not have close to 500GB. I find the company's practices unethical, abruptly cutting off access to storage without warning. This feels like aggressive sales tactics driven by greed, which is truly disappointing!
I bought 500GB disk space from pcloud a couple of years ago, now I notice on the app and my hard drive I have 65GB free space left, suddenly I can no longer upload anything onto pcloud and all my song lyrics are no longer appearing. The company claims my memory is full. This is a scam because I emptied all heavy programs such as Adobe Master etc to make more space, and I have had no reply to my mail, and it seems to me they are forcing customers to extend their space, by lying to them, their own app shows how much space I have, my computer gives a 2nd opinion and I know for sure it is not near 500 gb. I do not like the way the company works, it is unethical just cutting off your memory without even a warning, and in this case it is pure hard selling tactics from greed-driven owners, disgusting!!!
Reliable, intuitive, value for money, two factor authenticator, operating under Swiss law (!), backup from Google Drive and fotos and much more. Gives me a sense of security to have my files stored on Pcloud. Some of the features I haven´t tried - for instance "crypto folder" and therefore I can´t rate these.
Made the mistake of purchasing a 2 Tb package. However, as I use a Mac I was unable to get the software to allow me to work properly on a nearly new MacBook Pro. Contacted support and they sent me what they regard as easy to use instructions to solve the problem but their instructions simply don't work. I am now about a month down the line since purchase and just deleted the software as I have no faith in it ever working on a Mac. Waste of my money and now going back to external SSD drives which in the past have always been very reliable. Cannot recommend pCloud to anyone, save your money
On January 12 I purchased the 500GB version of the product. Within two days, the storage capacity was full. My understanding was that upgrading to the 2GB which is $400 version would only incur a charge for the price difference of $200 and I'll have 2TB. However, upon selecting the upgrade option, my credit card on file was immediately charged $400 without showing me the new charges. If I saw that it will be another $400 Ion top of the $200 that i just paid I would've not agreed to the upgrade. On January 12, I contacted customer service to resolve this issue. On January 14, I received an email presenting two options. I responded to this email asking clarification but did not receive a reply. Two days later, I sent a follow-up email, again without a response. After another two days, I sent a third email, still without a reply. Therefore, I request the closure of my Acorns account and a refund of $600 to my account, as this experience does not align with my expectations for a long-term membership..
I purchased a lifetime plan and used pCloud for quite some time. Over the past few months, however, both upload and download speeds have dropped dramatically. This issue is not related to my ISP — my internet connection provides excellent upload and download performance. The slowdown occurs only with pCloud.Transferring files larger than 1 GB now takes an unreasonable amount of time, whereas it used to be fast and reliable.Additionally, I’ve always had to rely on tools like rsync for uploads, as the official pCloud app has consistently been unreliable and poorly implemented.Unfortunately, due to these ongoing performance issues, I can no longer recommend pCloud.EDIT:Here's the data you requested.Download upload from my ISP with a local server: 150D/20U Mb/sDownload upload from my ISP with Luxemburg server:150D/20U Mb/sDownload upload from pCloud: 130D/0.0U Mb/sThe issue is in the pCloud network.
I’ve been paying €17.99/mo like clockwork for what is supposed to be a “Premium” service. The result? A total catastrophe. If I didn’t have my own local physical backups, 15 years of my career would be gone.Yesterday, the unthinkable happened: while I was logged into the web interface, I literally watched entire folders vanish before my very eyes. My account usage plummeted from 2.7 TB down to 100 GB in a matter of minutes. The files just evaporated. But the technical failure here is even worse: the “Rewind” feature is CORRUPT. I tried to restore data by going back to dates from months ago, but the folders show up as empty even in the past. This means your database has completely lost the historical metadata. This isn’t just a simple bug; it is a structural failure of your entire system. To make matters worse, support is non-existent. I opened urgent tickets hours ago and haven’t heard a peep.Honestly, the red flags were already there. Your official desktop app is a buggy mess—slow and unreliable. It was so bad that I was forced to use external scripts (rclone) just to get files uploaded because your proprietary software kept crashing.I paid good money for a service that not only loses “live” data but corrupts its own internal backups. Stay away from pCloud. It is dangerous for anyone who relies on their data for work._____________________UPDATE: pCloud responded here immediately asking if I used external tools, trying to shift blame. Even if I deleted files manually (which I didn't), your 'Rewind' feature is supposed to restore them. It is EMPTY. That proves YOUR system failed, regardless of the cause of deletion.
I’ve had a lifetime plan since 2022 and overall pCloud has been working well for me. While I've experienced occasional issues with file transfers, I've had similar problems with services like Google Drive and OneDrive, so nothing out of the ordinary. All in all, it's a simple and reliable service that's nice to have.
