This is the worst shipping company. They are extremely dishonest. All their services are delayed both domestically and internationally. They manipulate shipping prices and inflate costs. Every delay leads to the same issues. When my shipment arrived in Dubai, the update said: 'Transportation delay - due to an air connection.' When contacted, they blame system updates or malfunctions. It's just nonsense and excuses.
Overall, my experience with this company was positive. They provided a service I couldn't find elsewhere, allowing me to obtain an item not available in the UK. They initially quoted me £26, but I ended up paying an additional £30 in customs and tax, which was unclear on the website. I had to use a bank transfer, which felt a bit suspicious. I deducted one star for this, but most other companies were quoting around £50, so I expected some hidden fees. The website could be clearer, and there were formatting issues that made it hard to read. However, my parcel arrived safely, and I'm grateful for the service. The depot in Barcelona was particularly helpful with communication. I'm pleased overall, though I wish they could be more transparent with pricing.
I used this service frequently over the years, but they have recently dropped the ball. They left a package at the doorstep without ringing the bell, despite people being home. The package disappeared, and when I inquired, they simply provided a photo of it on the doorstep. When I asked if hand delivery was part of their terms, I received the same reply. I just want my package back. Now I have another package delivered to their office that may also be missing. As a customer, I will find another delivery company.

This has been the worst shipping experience I have ever had. They seem to lack the basic knowledge to run such services. Don't expect customer service to respond to your complaints. Transforming their failures into successes is possible, but it's more challenging than starting a successful business from scratch.
I was going to buy some things from shop and ship but as I usually do, I went onto Internet (not via Facebook, who can con people) and went onto reviews and I was surprised most of the 500 people who rated the website, rated it really low. I am stopping buying anything from these Chinese sites, temu and now this one because it looks like the same issues happen again and again, bad shipping, orders cancelled or arrive broken, all sorts of issues. So its a big fat no from me.
I've used S&S for years and it used to be good. But nowadays the rates are astronomical and packages sit in my account (for the UK) for one week or more before moving onto the destination? It would.be quicker to have stuff shipped by boat!
