TERRIBLE site, no control over members. I've been receiving messages from people 40 years younger and 18 years older than myself.Most responses asked for an email or phone number and had their address in user name and phone number scrawled across their picture. Messages from 50-3,000 miles distance.THIS IS AN OVER 50 SITE THAT ALLOWS ANYONE TO JOIN.Now it gets worse. When contacting them you reach "non-English speaking" English language c/s reps in the Phillipines who refuse to address any concerns and offer no assistance (I tried 3 times and hit a brick wall each time).It's terrible that companies/people spend so much time devising deceitful schemes.STAY AWAY, BUY A COUPLE NICE STEAKS.If you pay for Singles50, you are going lose.It is not worth the money, the messages I have received are awful and they take way too long to load.But the worst thing is, SIngles50 hides the fact that they are going to automatically charge you for renewal fees. You end up paying a whole lot more than you think.I spent $60 (not intentionally) and did not meet a single person.This site brings out the worst possible people.I had planned on not renewing, but despite the fact that I received a LOT of mail from Singles50, I never had any hint at all that they were going to continue charging my credit card.Save yourself a lot of money. There are FREE apps for your phone that work 1000 times better.
I agree with all the negative things others have said, I also will add, however, I received numerous "messages", "flirts" and other contacts from far distant areas.One message I received (which was apparently from a bot) indicated that she loved my uniform.In my picture I wasn't wearing anything that remotely looks like a uniform.And I was particularly upset by receiving three messages from supposedly different women, but all three had the same pictures and the profiles were different.And I received many responses from what appeared to be bots. The responses weren't related in any way to what I had sent.The automatic membership renewal somehow twice managed to get turned back on after I turned it off. I requested that my profile be completely deleted.I had an subscription with SIngles50 that I hardly ever use because there are no one of interest, one day I had 4 alerts on my email that someone is interested in me, so I clicked on the message and it took me into there site and showed me this beautiful lady.I was like wow she is beautiful so I responded and with that she was gone from the site and my subscription was renewed. It's a scam that Match.Men and women stay away from these sites they are using models and spyware to steal our hard earned money and don't care about us, that was the last $29.95 at that time and they left my account in the negative.They don't care so please don't use their sites. If you take sometime and read these reviews you will see similar things have happened to others all over, let our money be the last ones that they steal.Don't use it!
Very good at taking your money, multiple times, not good at confirming the subscription cancellation requests. Make sure you do not keep getting charged via automatic payments. The site doesn't allow you to delete your profile without cancelling your subscription but you can't get onto anyone to confirm the cancellation even after following their instructions and submitting the signed form. Scam!!!
Is this site run by criminals? Do not use them, they will blackmail you into paying more money than you expect. They over charge, extort money with threats of collection agencies. The day your subscription ends, they lock you out and ask for money. You cannot log in means that you can’t delete your profile and they will continue charging you for every month until you either take legal action or pay up. The charge $100 aud per month and the site is crap!! Do yourself a favour and stay away from these crooks. I only subscribed for one month but they somehow renew it automatically even though I stopped the subscription via PayPal. I paid them because I feel they needed the charity. I wish we could give out no stars.
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS DATING SITE....IT IS ALL FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! I would not even give them 1 star but cannot complete this without it!!! Totally false & misleading, after going through a thousand questions you are lead to believe its a great site. So then at the end they advertise $9.99 for 6mths (with a little arrow bouncing off saying the most popular) but in actual fact they steal $239.76 from your account. I emailed them immediately (3 hours later) and said I demand a refund due to false advertising! And you guessed it, they said I had agreed to the contract so NO REFUND! I also went through Pay Pal so reported it to them (ON THE SAME DAY) and they wanted nothing to do with it, so I've deleted that account also!As for the 4 men I contacted over the next 2 weeks, {no other option now so give it a go} everyone of them was a fraud, everyone of them said their wife died, and after further conversation I realised they were definitely NOT who they were! This site is a complete sham and I'm now reporting them to the ACCC. Such disgusting people committing theft & sadness.
I used the 14 days free trial and the persons I was introduced to were very nice and decent but when I found out that the price was very high I canced my membership after 12 days. I contacted the support and asked her how to cancel it and she told me that it was just to delete my profile. I thought I would get the money back but didn't. Although I asked the support if I had to do anything else she said no. Now I payed 250 euro for 12 days which I never will get back.
I subscribed with singles 50 for 1 month at 12.99 euro however singles 50 took 52 euro . There is no answer to my email. I can’t cancel my profile . It’s very concerning because I’m afraid they are going to continue to take money from my credit card. So now I’ll have the problem of cancellation of my credit card.
My initial experiences was good. Easy to sign up, nice replies from customer services. Looked forward to get just a few suggestions per day and to have nice chats. Felt no stress or pressure at all! Then one day 2 selected matches out of 7 suggestions was scammer profiles!Reported the profile .. profile already reported.. .. after 4 weeks of calendar time the profiles are still active!!! The scammer can also access my profile even though I reported the profile. In the past weeks I have been suggested 7 scammer profiles. On top I spotted additional 4 scammer profiles online!All reported, I even see them change profile names and some of them has pinged me twice! I have sent 5 emails to the customer service - no reply! On their web site I read that I can always say no and I do not have to reply to profiles I don't like!! The pictures the scammers use are easy to search online seems to be well spread world wide.I'm genuine chocked that a dating site takes no action to close down false profiles. I do not feel safe at their dating site. The scammers are actively there on their web site for frauds and romance scamming. Not for finding a true romance supported by Singles50.
Just a horrible site. 9out of 10 women are scammers, a waste of time.It’s impossible to cancel your subscription, they want you to fax a letter to cancel your subscription, you can’t do it in line. When wa the last time you saw a fax machine? They won’t let you deactivate your account either.Save your money.
This company is a scam. They told me it would be $6 a month. They then charged my credit card over ten times the amount and then doubled that 30 days later. I have reported them. They are committing fraud! They also refused to cancel my subscription so they could keep billing me . If you have given this company your credit card details, cancel your card immediately, and let your bank know you have been defrauded.
