The car we booked were not available and we had to upgrade. That’s a common thing I experienced with Sixt instead of a free upgrade. At the carpark, the wait time was long as the staff was no where to be seen and we waited for 15 mins after we contacted the sales office staff to contact the carpark attendant.

The experience was excellent overall, except for receiving two speeding tickets within the first minute after picking up the car.The staff were especially friendly, and I truly appreciated the complimentary upgrade. However, it was somewhat inconvenient that the vehicle did not have ADAS features despite being a newer model.I would particularly like to highly commend the staff member at the pickup location for his exceptional kindness and helpful assistance.
This is honestly the first car rental experience in the UAE where I can say that everything worked exactly as it should.I rented my car from the Sheikh Zayed Road branch, not at the airport, and the difference was very noticeable. The vehicle I received was clean, well maintained, and exactly as agreed. No unpleasant surprises, no discussions, no pressure.Both the handover and the return process were smooth, professional, and efficient. Everything was clearly explained, transparent, and handled in a calm and respectful manner. This is exactly what you expect from a professional international rental company.I want to explicitly mention that I have had many bad experiences in the UAE in the past, especially with some rental providers at the airport. That is precisely why I decided to take a different approach this time and rent directly from the Sheikh Zayed Road location instead of the airport – and it was absolutely the right decision.Based on this experience, I can clearly recommend:choosing Sixt,and avoiding airport rentals if possible,and renting directly from a city branch such as Sheikh Zayed Road.So far, this has been a very positive experience, and I am happy to continue renting with Sixt in the future. Looking forward to more smooth and professional rentals.
This company is committing fraud. They charge my card over 4000 AED on 3 separate occasions. After several emails I finally got a reply stating that they were traffic fines, another several emails of me asking what the traffic fines were for they failed to provide any evidence or reason for the so called fines. Their communication is appalling and I will never go anywhere near these clowns again. Seriously avoid at all cost, there are so many good companies to rent from in Dubai. I’ve since reported them to a fraudulent department
