SIXT Eindhoven customer service is first class and car pick up at the airport and return easy and simple. I hired a BMW X1 which was everything I expected (I drive a BMW at home). The €500 held on my credit card as a deposit was returned the same day as the car. All in all a very good experience - which is becoming rarer sadly - so full marks to SIXT!
Sixt damaged our car post return and then charged us for the damage. They claim to have photos of the car being pristine before, but they only show the WRONG side of the car in their pre-photos. They also did not follow proper return procedures. It's a scam. Avoid.
The service agent at the office was very friendly and kindly explained all the relevant details both in relation to the vehicle and to the rental process. She provided clear instructions regarding how to find the parking garage and overall made the experience very pleasant. The service agent at the vehicle pick-up point was, likewise, very friendly and helpful.
Rental was refused at Amsterdam airport by a very rude person by the name of Ela. She tried to ripp me off asking double the booked price. She refused to look at my booking confirmation received per mail and also in the app, telling me that in her system it’s another car class. Finally she send me away to “rent a car wherever I want” she will not rent me any car. I have never had such an humiliating experience in my life!!! It is inadmissible that Sixt tolerate such employees. Finally I have rented a car for me and my family (including 2 children) from another company where we were treated like customers should be.
I gave this rating because the rental experience so far has been excellent. The booking process was clear and easy, and the pick-up was smooth and well organised. The vehicle was in perfect condition,clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful, which made everything stress-free. So far, everything has met or exceeded expectations, and I’m very satisfied with the service.
