Purchased a bike in December 2024, advertised with a range of 80km. My son rides to school 8km one way, totaling 16km for a round trip. After one school trip, the battery is already at half. The support team keeps asking irrelevant, repetitive questions instead of providing real assistance. I've given up on this frustrating process and accepted that my son must charge his battery every day after school. Additionally, the bike supposedly comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame, but when it broke, I was told the damaged part isn't covered. I'm left wondering what exactly the warranty applies to. Then, I faced more pointless questions about whether I have a photo of the frame breaking. How is anyone expected to capture that moment? If your bike works fine, great. But if you encounter issues, be prepared for a challenging support experience that seems designed to make you give up.

Rivena comes up with all sorts of useless, repeat questions to avoid providing any actual answers or support. So I just give up with this time-wasting exercise and accept that my son has to charge his battery EVERYDAY after school. The bike also supposedly comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame. Now the frame broke. The first response is that the part that broke is not part of the frame. I'm curious then for which part of the bike the 5-year warranty exactly is for. Then comes the repeat, stupid questions again about if I have a picture of when the frame broke. And how without such a picture, Rivena cannot do anything. Who would know exactly when the frame decides to crack and have a picture of the moment when the frame cracks???All and well if nothing is wrong with your bike. Otherwise, good luck trying to get any actual support. The 'support' is aimed at trying to make things as difficult as possible for you and hoping that you eventually give up. And that has worked ONCE.
This is really a big scam product. First, is the height said it was suitable for 150cm but it was for 165cm, we tried to communicate with the support they’re not really responsive. 2nd, after many days the back tires just got flat out of nowhere there no any sign of any problem and the batter suddenly it’s stop and not working anymore. If you don’t want to lose your better not buy this. Just by somewhere not this one, such waste of money. And for the customer service who was really rude telling me, she cannot do anything about the battery since it’s my fault :) wow how can it be my fault, when i just purchased 3 months ago.
The bike arrived with 1 day delay, but that's no big deal. It was well packed and contained everything needed for assembly. The assembly was easy, provided you have the necessary Allen keys and wrenches.I have used this bike for about 10 days now, and I am very very satisfied with it! Everything is working as expected, the battery is powerful and easily lasts through 2 days of my daily commutes. I've already done 210km.Some things that could be improved are:- the seat soaks up water after raining. I don't know if that is the case with all Dutch bikes, but my previous one did not have this problem. Although this bike's seating is much more comfortable!- the battery is often difficult to remove and requires a lot of strength and pulling.
We are super impressed. It is a beautiful bike, it rides well, accelerates wonderful and shipped immediately after we ordered it. What else could we ask for?? It is essential part of my daughter commuting to school which is 6-7 km away. Looking forward to beautiful journeys with it!
Customer support = 1/5Bike = 3/5They are paying people to remove negative reviews. They offered me €50 to remove this review, and they are refusing to publish my review on their website. When my gearbox broke the very first day, I had to pay €25 to get it fixed. They offered me €10, but for negative review they have no problem paying 50. After I refused, they are saying that they "tried to help", yes, but only after this review was posted. Bike is too expensive, should be €700-800. Give few hundred more and get a proper, firm bike. This one on a bumpy road feels like it's gonna fall apart. If you are on a tight budget, get swapfiets, trust me.
