Allow me to update my review, as I actually received some useful feed back from Skates USA.I had reached out initially because the deck I ordered was damaged, no big deal.Shipping time was great, so kudos on that. However, the deck it self was damaged, which I called out in my original review. After contacting Skates USA, voicing my concern and simply asking if there was anything they could do rectify the situation, they proceeded to tell me, and I quote from a direct email:"We are a skateboard company and sell skateboards to be used as skateboards. Decks are on display and handled by customers and put back if its not what they want. This deck is many years old the brand isn't even around anymore. We can offer a 10% discount as a courtesy."After leaving a review for potential future customers they decided to leave the following review on this website:"we sell skateboards not works of art. customer ordered deck that is 8 to 10 years old at below regular price from a brand that is long out of business. customer was offered a partall credit as a courtesy."I appreciate the "partall" credit they offered but did not accept, and I know skateboard decks are not "works of art", having said that, I would not trust this company with any sale, credit, or guarantee, as several others on this site have voiced the same opinion.Thank you for selling and shipping the deck, but other than that I found your response to my questions and the overall experience to be condescending, aggravated and unhelpful.Best of luck in the future!
I orderded a BMX bike for $414 on Aug 24. I didn't get any notice about when the item would be shipped. I called repeatedly on Sept 2 and 3 and sent an email to them asking about when my order would be shipped.I got no response after 36 hours, so I called my credit card company and told them this company is fraudulent.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They will take your money and never ship out your item.
Horrible experience!!! Don’t buy from here! I order a skateboard deck, it took three days for them to realize they didn’t even have the deck in stock so after several emails and chat messages sent and attempting to call them which by the way they don’t answer their phone ever they finally sent an email saying what other deck would you like? So I picked out another deck they said they would ship it the same day and they did however it took way long for it to arrive and as I’m writing this message it still has not arrived. Beware of skates USA they are a bunch of frauds when I finally sent another email asking what they were gonna do to make this right thinking they might refund my shipping or you know offer something else nope instead I got a nasty email from one of their customer service agents. Beware of this place. There are several other companies online that sell the same stuff for better prices and faster shipping beware of this place.
They will not answer any calls or emails after product ships. I tried to return an item I was unhappy with the quality of. To no avail. They will outright ignore you and the one time I got them on the phone, they just hung up on me and rejected following calls. it seems like the owner is a real prick from the way he responds on here by publicly attacking his customer base. If he acts like he does in these replies, just imagine how you’ll be treated when nobody else can see. Do yourself a favor and don’t give this company a dime. Real “scum of the earth” people.
After ordering skates from these guys, I read reviews that were not that good. So I was sweating it as they were for my grandsons birthday. The skates arrived on time, 2 day shipping, and fit perfectly thanks to the guy at Skates USA. I had ordered a size smaller and he was able to cancel one order and send the size that he recommended. They fit perfect and now I'm a hero to my grandson. I personally highly recommend this place!
Poor customer service, slow response times, items arrived without the manufacturer's original box (plain, damaged cardboard box) and missing pieces to the item.**** the company's response to my post isn't even speaking about my order, so... L O L****
Don’t order anything from this company they are unprofessional. And they slowly respond back when it comes to returning an item. I also had to pay my own shipping cost to get my refund processed faster. I also contacted affirm to dispute something on my account and yes I will be winning this one. Because I am not paying for something that I have tracking information from UPS saying that it was delivered. And they still wanna come up with an excuse! NAHH DAWG you got the wrong one.
