First class customer service from Skinners regarding the removal of our old shed and the installation of our new one. Stef at Frensham who processed our order was on the case with every aspect of the installation; the different teams who removed the old shed, laid the new base and installed the new shed were all very polite, helpful and efficient! No complaints or concerns at all and would happily recommend Skinners Sheds
Having been let down by another supplier, Skinners were able to supply and install a shed to our requirements within a week. We are very pleased with the quality of the shed and the service from Skinners was excellent, both at the point of sale and the installation of the shed.
A great company to deal with. They listened and customised my summerhouse without issue. They came and did site visit (for free) to check all was OK before installing it. They kept me informed as to time and date, and when it arrive the fitters were extremely polite, and worked without a break, taking only two hours to erect the summer house. It looks fabulous in the garden and is a pleasure to be in.
Skinners put the shed roof on the wrong way round, so the protective felt overlap was, in fact, an underlap, holding the rain water at the felt joins. This was not noticed by us and over time the roof started to leak. The guarantee was long over, but as the cause of the leak was clearly Skinners fault (I sent them the photos they asked for) I thought they would fix it. I only ever had 1 reply from their customer services, despite my many calls. Even the MD, Mr White, chose not to reply to the registered letter I can see he received. SO WATCH OUT IF YOU’RE THINKING OF GETTING A SKINNERS SHED OR CABIN.
Would not install as per agreement. Found multiple excuses. Fitters arrived as getting dark and were moaning about a long drive ahead. Felt they wanted me to buy their base at additional cost. Installed shed myself with no experience. Skinners will not refund installation fee and are now ignoring correspondence.Perfectly happy with the product itself.
This is our 2nd time purchasing a skinners shed. our shed was one of the things we reluctantly left behind when we moved so one of our first purchases at our new property was a replacement. 1st class company from planning to base construction and shed build, unable to fault the team
