Review Time
They are horrible to work with. I do not ever write bad reviews but i am making an exception this time. You can never get anyone to call back for an issue. I have called numerous times and never get a call back. This has not been my only issue, they have constantly shut the system down in the middle of the work day and you cannot access your customer data base. When you call to get help they say they are updating the system and service will be up shortly. They are constantly removing features that we use to add something different and when call about it they tell me that they can only support so many features and had to remove some to add new. I am trying to set up the phone app with them and it so extremely difficult to set up, there are literally 100 or more steps to complete. They do not provide any tech support to help set it up and when you try to call to get help you receive an email that says they only email for questions on it. I am not a phone specialist and this is way to complicated for any one who tries to set it up. I am going to cancel my monthly subscription and go to Service Titan. They are by far the best. I have talked to numerous other contractors and they are extremely happy with them. I have been a customer with House Call pro for at least 8 years and have been frustrated with them from the first year but i had already established my customer data base and did not want to start over with some one new. I wish i had gone ahead and canceled there service after the first year it would have been so much easier on the transition now. Do not waste your time with this company.

Not a bad app if you're small and don't plan to scale. Otherwise, I highly recommend not using HC to automate processes. After using HC for about 3 years, we've learned that It's extremely limited in what it can automate, does not offer many helpful integrations, in-app workflows are clunky and not intuitive, functionality is buggy, and the support team is very slow to respond and does not usually offer valuable insight.
I have my own company and manage another, they constantly call for us to sign up for their service. I have begged for the calls to stop, but they continue.. There is nothing but AI on their site, the people calling for us to buy the product often have kids screaming in the background, they clearly sub out their commission based sales. This company is getting a bad reputation among the trades.
1/4/26 They are constantly creating new features. When they do, they constantly call to get you to sign up. No free trials. When you use these new features for a month then ask for a refund, you get nothing back whether you were satisfied with the new product or not. They chose to deny an $80 refund when I've been paying them $250 a month for the past 3 years.EDIT: 1/16/26 Since writing this review, I have been waiting on a $300 refund for the 2nd month billing cycle. Again, I never used the service. It has now been 2 weeks and I was told I would hear back in 48 hours.You can say that you care and hide behind policy. You're actions show the truth.
Unfortunately, my experience with Housecall Pro was very disappointing. The platform sounded great upfront, but once I started using it, I ran into multiple issues that made it more frustrating than helpful. Features didn’t work as expected, and customer support was slow to respond and not very helpful when they did. For the price being charged, I expected a much smoother experience and better support. Overall, it feels unreliable and not worth the cost. I wouldn’t recommend this service unless major improvements are made
I got roped into this pretty quickly after simply Googling things like how to get more business in my housecleaning. After 8 stressful hours of trying to understand their stupid app, I realized it wasn’t for me. Trying to cancel was a fail…several chats, 3 phone calls later, and “someone has been assigned and will DEFINITELY call you,” I marked my debit card as stolen to escape a future billing from these mf b******.
