Buyer beware - dreadful customer service from this company! Front panel of a £5k summer house dropped away from the frame within a week of installation. Contacted Skinners and was told that they were not responsible because we hadn't used their paint to protect the wood! The most nonsensical response imaginable! We had painted it, we did so immediately with the correct paint, however, a coat of paint (even supplied by Leonardo Da Vinci) would not hold an entire panel in place. The customer service team were rude and dismissive when we asked for help. The salesman who arranged the sale, although understanding said there was nothing he could do. It appears Skinners have a get out clause for all after sales problems - if you haven't bought their paint they will do nothing, even if the entire structure collapses! Our summer house was bought for children in a supported living scheme, which the company are aware of so shame on them for not responding positively - it would have taken them half an hour to secure the panel and we would have been happy. We will never buy from them again.
