I have an issue with the menu on the app. I ordered a BigMac Xtra Value Meal and spent almost $25, only to receive two pieces of bread soaked in mayo and lettuce, with NO MEAT! The fries were cold, and the only satisfactory part of the meal was the baked apple pie and the large soda. I recommend changing the location of the "NON-MEAT" BigMac on the menu, as it does not qualify as a BigMac; it's not even close to a "Veggie Burger". It was quite disappointing. Although I understand my order was incorrect due to a misunderstanding, the app should take responsibility for misplacing the item among the meat options. I shouldn't need to examine the menu closely, particularly since this item is clearly miscategorized. Unfortunately, because I didn't take a picture of the non-meat burger before discarding it, they denied my request for a refund. I wasn't looking for a full refund—just the cost of the non-meat burger, as the mistake was not my fault but rather an issue with the app. Given the revenue from deliveries, one would expect customer satisfaction to be prioritized over an $8 burger that isn't even worth that amount. If this item is to remain on the menu, it should at least be moved to the salad section, so that customers expecting a hamburger at a hamburger establishment actually receive the meat they ordered, instead of this disappointing alternative.
I have a concern regarding the menu on the app. I ordered a BigMac Xtra Value Meal and paid nearly $25, but received two pieces of bread slathered in mayo and lettuce, with NO MEAT! The fries were cold, and the only tolerable part of the meal was the baked apple pie and the large soda. My recommendation is to relocate the "NON-MEAT" BigMac on the menu, as it does not qualify as a BigMac; it's not even a proper "Veggie Burger". It was quite disappointing. While I recognize my order was incorrect due to a misunderstanding, the app should take responsibility for misplacing this item among the meat options. I shouldn't have to scrutinize the menu, especially since this item is clearly miscategorized. Unfortunately, because I didn't capture a photo of the non-meat burger before throwing it away, they refused to issue a refund. I wasn't seeking a full refund—just the cost of the non-meat burger, as the error was not mine but an issue with the app. Given the revenue from deliveries, one would expect customer satisfaction to be prioritized over an $8 burger that isn't even worth that much. If this item is to remain on the menu, it should at least be moved to the salad section, so that customers expecting a hamburger at a hamburger place actually receive the meat they ordered, rather than this disappointing alternative.
I'll share my experience for those thinking about using Skip the Dishes. I ordered food and paid by credit card. The order was never processed. Skip cancelled the order and blamed the merchant. I got an email saying that I will receive Skip credits for the money they received but if I want a refund I can ask online chat. Online chat tells me they can't refund and ends the chat. I had to open a dispute with my credit card to get my money back. BEWARE. Their reviews are horrible.
SkipTheDishes has been a huge disappointment. I reached out because my father accidentally damaged his gift card, and despite providing all the information and photos they asked for, they have completely ignored me. It’s been weeks with no resolution and no one responding to my emails. I’ve followed up multiple times and still nothing.Customer service should actually serve customers — especially when the issue is legitimate and easy to verify. I would not recommend this company or use it again.
I just had the most horrific and traumatizing experience of my life. I am a single woman with agoraphobia, which means I don’t like to leave my house unless absolutely necessary. It’s very hard for me. Tonight, I decided to treat myself to celebrate something. There was a mishap, and my order was only partially completed. I’m not sure if it was my error or the delivery service’s mistake. When I asked the driver about my Timbits and donuts (I ordered from TH), he said, “No, just this.” Unsure, I asked him to wait a moment. He became rude and raised his voice. I have PTSD, so I panicked and shoved the drink at him, meaning “Here, take it back.” As I tried to close the door, he stuck his foot in the doorway. When I finally managed to shut the door, the male driver kicked it so hard that the door and hinges shook. Even worse, customer service called it an “inconvenience” instead of an attempted attack. What would he have done if the door had broken? I’m terrified and will never use those delivery services again. These are the contracted people they hire—people who terrify women? Then they offered me $5 for my trouble. How dare they? The order cost $15. I’m filing a police report tomorrow. I’m still shaking. This is not healthy or normal behavior. I dread to think what could have happened if the door had broken. I’m considering speaking to a lawyer. This was unbelievably wrong. I also have proof—a camera with audio and video is installed right above my door.
I recently placed an order, but the rider vanished with my food and it was never delivered. When I contacted your helpline, I received no helpful support. This has wasted my time and money.Your service has been terrible, and I strongly advise others not to waste their time with SkipTheDishes.
Support lies to you and then throws a $5 credit in your face, like it helps that you get stuck with no order after waiting for over an hour and a half.Been using for many years, and it’s been going downhill since, but after tonight will be closing my account and i hope they will realize that they have plenty of competition so maybe improve the quality of your customer service
