Review Time
I had ordered a sign that was very time sensitive. It also was supposed to go on my property fence as someone had stolen a different holiday themed banner and I decided to order a custom sign leaving a message to the thieves that they were "assholes" for stealing other peoples property ON private property just because they didn't like it. My order was made on Dec 16th and was reviewed/checked for errors, the errors were corrected, and I paid for expedited delivery so the sign could arrive in a timely manner to serve it's purpose. Days later , Dec 19th I received an email from a rep named "George" who basically told me they hide behind a policy of morality when they could have A. informed me of that sooner. B. Not try to act like their customers mother in first world country that prides itself of liberty and freedom of speech. I replied to George, I was less than happy, and I postponed calling in the company till today because I was busy and time is limited. I called the number provided, I asked to speak to supervisor, I spoke to someone named Karen (figures) and she proceeded to lie and say the hold on the sign was made the same day and an email was sent to me that day. She proceeded to tell me that an email went out the 16th informing me of what production had been halted.. I was looking at my emails as she said this, there was no such email on that date stating anything to what she declared. I went through my emails with a fine tooth comb, didn't happen, never got one pertaining to this matter on the 16th, I have all emails received and sent and the first email about this issue was on the 19, and then again on the 20th. She was now lying about my time lost waiting for them to retroactively decided they can't handle curse words as grown men and women. I didn't have the opportunity to read the email that didn't get sent on the 16th rather the 19th, until the 21st. None of this matters as the product was never made, I will never attempt to use this service or suggest this service to anyone. The right to refuse service is a wobbly line to walk and merchants should be able to have that right so long as it doesn't impose over mine.. but it did, never the less I would have been infinitely more understanding had I actually gotten an immediate email so I could take action and look elsewhere for this order to be fufilled as opposed to days later after I had been informed the sign was good to go. This company is bad. The supervisors lie and don't seem to care bending their moral code when it comes to other matters but God help you if you have a vocabulary fit for a Fishing Ship.Not customer concerned, will not be prompt when it is needed, and most important.. they lack integrity.. because the supervisors willingly, KNOWINGLY.. lie.
In November of 2023, I ordered 2 custom metal signs through "Road Traffic Signs; a Smart Signs store." The signs were mounted on fence posts in a sunny park. The design on both signs peeled off some time in 2024... I forget when exactly, but either way, these signs lasted less than 2 years, which is well below the average lifespan of a sign. These were allegedly road signs; they should have been able to withstand UV exposure, especially since I didn't seen any other signs around town falling to pieces.That said, unlike the other reviewers, I don't remember any issues with customer service or the ordering process, just the final product.
Was quite easy to put together and design my own business sign and when I received my sign it looked better in person than it did on the site and only complaint I had was that where the mounting holes were punched through the sign the laminated top covering was bubbled up ONLY where those holes had been made and when SMART SIGN reached out about my purchase and what I thought I told them was very impressive except for what was bubbled up around the mounting holes they asked to send pictures of this issue and next day Lade Diane sent me an email saying my replacement sign was being made and would be on its way and that I didn't need to send the sign they were replacing back to them! So awesome to see a company who cares about their clients and who stands behind their products!!! Customer service is TOP NOTCH! will never order my business signs from any other company!! They deserve more than 5 stars but that's all 7 can give would give 10 🌟's if was possible for them standing behind their products and Customer satisfaction and I'm greatly satisfied with my sign purchase for my detailing business ATTENTION TO DETAIL automotive detailing services!!
This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.I ordered tags that i needed on 8/31 and was just notified 0n 10/12 that it would be another 4 weeks. Our 8 facilities depended on these tags. I will now have to source another supplier.
