I began seeing Skinnify ads, on Facebook and Google, since I been searching for replacement leggings after Gaiam stopped making the ones I loved (Oh the algorithms!).
What drew me into trying the Skinnify brand over the other resistance bands was because of the story - 'A son who created leggings with resistant bands, because he wanted to create something to help his Mom live her best life and lose a little weight.' I thought, of course, I will try/support this company over a larger company offering resistant band leggings that probably only focuses on profit and uses AI-bots for customer service.
So I decided first to buy two pair of leggings (6 bands) to see if I would like them. I did like them (Version 10/2025 -1/2026)! Then, I bought some more and more leggings (8 and 10 bands) and the rewards system was a nice touch too!
Note: There was a minor adjustment, the Skinnify Logo, went from the full name to just an S (on lower right belly/hip). I don't mind this not being communicated to me via email or on the website pics, because the leggings design had not been altered.
Stay tuned for *real* customer feedback and Skinnify business practices within 4+ months...
Your original design was perfect! I ordered quite a few pairs of the Resistant Band Leggings (6 & 8). I also ordered quite a few pairs of the Super Resistant Band Leggings (10). Additionally, I ordered quite a few pairs of the Resistant Band Pants. Plus, I told friends and family about them too.
The new design sucks (effective 2/26)! They are like all the other resistant band leggings and what made your brand unique is gone.
I am sad, but I will find another company to support that listens to their customers.
⭐️ 1 star — Return process is a nightmare
I’ve been trying to complete a simple return and it’s been unnecessarily delayed and complicated. A refund should be straightforward, but Skinnify has made it difficult at every step.
On top of that, I’m not satisfied with the product at all—the fit wasn’t right, and the “resistance” is nowhere near what’s advertised. I even considered checking if you had stronger resistance options, but after this awful return experience, I won’t be purchasing anything else.
Honestly, the delays make it feel like the process is designed to drag on until the return window closes, which is incredibly frustrating and feels unethical. I do not recommend.
I found the shipping to be quite slow, but I suppose between tariffs and customs that slows things down a lot. Ordering was slick. I should have used the size guide. 🤦♀️
I haven’t had a chance to actually try these because I ordered XL and received 3X.
I have sent several notes to this company and they sadly have not responded as to how I should proceed to return or exchange these items.
At this point I’d be happy for a refund, but imagine that it is a loss.
Sadly, this gives me even more reason to use Amazon who will reimburse easily and RESPOND!
I’m a 65 year old woman in good shape but looking to lose the last 15 pounds, which is even more difficult at my age. I’ve been power walking, doing calisthenics and using weights so I didn’t know if the resistance tights would make a difference. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could feel my muscles pushed even harder while wearing the tights. Any product that works my muscles while not trying is a good thing!
The only negative issue was that I had some miscommunication when asking questions to customer service. After three back and forth emails I finally had the answer to the question I was asking.

They make their check out page purposely deceiving and I thought I was clicking no to all the stuff they wanted me to buy on top of my purchase. But at the very end, when I clicked purchase, it was to purchase shoes too. Which I did not want and it gave me no back button and no way to cancel that order. And their pants suck. Baggy in between the bands. I spent a whole weekend at youth sports stuff telling everyone O knew about their unscrupulous practices and poor product. You think word of mouth doesn't spread far? Well I went to 3 different cities in 2 weeks with my kids sports. That word will spread.
Easy to understand the concept behind building stretch bands into the and the website was easy to navigate. Ordering was fast and my order was processed quickly and delivered within days. While comfortable, I could feel the pressure from the bands and my legs did feel as though they had been through a workout just by my everyday movements
