I had a very positive experience with Smile Hair. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish, and everything felt very professional and well organized. The staff was helpful, and I felt well taken care of throughout the whole experience.
One small suggestion for improvement would be to remind clients to bring an umbrella (or perhaps even include one in the aftercare kit), as it can be quite important after the treatment.
Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend Smile Hair.

I was told a limo would pick me up and I was picked up in a black cargo van used for Reno's or something. I was very confused thinking am I going to the wrong clinic??
When you arrive you will be rushed to pay and pushed to buy extra things with no niceties.
The people barely speak English and can't explain much you will just be along for the ride going well I'm here now :(.
You will be rushed to pick from 2 front hair lines then off to get around 40 numbing needles in your head which hurt...
You will have a cheap lunch in essentially in a box like a. Microwave dinner.
DO NOT give a review when your done. They push too many people for this as there excited as thy see what appears to be a lot of hair after being bald and get exited.WAIT until 1 year.
My transplant failed as a large portion of grafts didn't take. I did everything by the book
( I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU GET IT DONE IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY. Or another clinic which shows good and bad reviews as much of these are bull shit

I got my hair transplant with smile clinic 1 week ago on a Monday. My experience has been a great experience! Coming from the U.S. the process was easier than expected. All communication was clear and to the point through what’s app. East to follow steps from airport, hotels, scheduled appointments it was all communicated through what’s app. They even picked us up from our personal hotel. All the shuttles rides were on time and plenty of time to get back to hotels and the airport .
On the day of the surgery the doctor and technicians explain everything clearly. The consultation on the day of the surgery went over realistic expectations and concerns are discussed from my point of view and the doctors. The clinic the staff and the doctors are all very nice, patient and professional. The clinic is very modern clean and well organized. The surgery is also very well organized with a nice lunch in between and I was taken care of when I had little moments of pain they would kindly add anesthetic. That was the most painful part was the initial anesthesia.
One week into recovery everything has gone great only the donor area has been sore but getting much better now. They give you all the instructions and a very nice after care kit. I highly recommend Smile hair clinic they are very good at what they do.

I really appreciated how prompt and helpful the initial process was with my case manager. He was a great help and took a lot of the unknowns out of the process. I had a good experience with Smile once I actually got to Istanbul. The Smile team was very efficient and the entire process was pretty streamlined. My only complaint would be that starting from the procedure day, it felt a bit rushed. While I understand the want of efficiency, I believe a more luxurious/personal experience where things were slowed down and more individualized would have been beneficial.
The whole experience was fantastic, from start to finish. The staff are professional, competent, friendly and eager to help and put you at ease. Everything is explained and all your questions answered. All the facilities are clean and sterile which gives you peace of mind that you procedure will be trouble free. To justify my words, I've had 2 transplants at Smile, and both visits resulting in unbelievable results, way past my initial expectations.

If you want to do a hair transplant Smile Hair Clinic is the one. I felt like i was home everybody was professional from the day I touch down in Turkey. Dr.Bilgin did my actual Hair Transplant he was great and friendly everything was explained step by step and also Zeynep was great during my post surgery.
The entire process was perfectly organized, with years of experience and thousands of previous clients evident. Transfers, accommodation, and the operation itself all went smoothly. I was supported at every stage by a friendly and knowledgeable crew. I recommend them for their excellent price, but mainly for the quality.
Although its been five days since the experience & I will not be able to update you on the results of the operation, the experience overall was good!
Pre -op: Instructions were thorough, logistics were tidy and efficient. Smile arranged for transportation from the airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the clinic for the operation and the post-op analysis/ protocol. The airport was difficult to navigate (this is purely for future clients who are reading reviews for guidance), I suggest mapping this out with the Clinic in advance, you will not get a lot of help from locals at the airport.
Expect a 1.5 hr drive from the airport to the smile clinic.
I cannot speak on the 5 star hotel, as we downgraded to the 4 star to save money. The hotel was difficult for someone of my size. Very small and single beds. This likely won't be an issue for someone shorter than 6 feet or who chooses to stay with the 5 star hotel. Food was good, but pricey; expect 60-70$ each.
Upon arrival to the Smile Clinic we were greeted immediately and the staff were friendly. You will need to sign a series of documents outlining your participation in the surgery and waiving liability- this felt very rushed, but nothing disconcerting.
The initial consult with Dr. Ahmedov was thorough. He was charming, had great bedside manner, a ton of knowledge and was able to give me forecasted results (number of grafts) that were accurate. While Dr. Ahmedov essentially traced my previous hairline, it looks PERFECT right now and I am very happy with it. The procedure itself takes approx 6-8 hours, purely dependent on the client & the number of grafts. Mine was 7 hours and Dr. Ahmedov was able to harvest 4500. The anesthetic is PAINFUL (expect a sharp and burning sensation), but only lasts 7-10 minutes. The harvesting or extraction phases lasted approx 2 hours. Its an uncomfortable process, as your head is positioned in an awkward manner the whole time. This is certainly not a reflection of the technicians (who are all excellent at what they do). but just an observation for someone looking to get the surgery. The Sapphire incision process lasted approx 1.5 hours and was completed by Dr. Ahmedov. He did an excellent job! There were one or two times where a part of my head was not frozen, but he was quick to rectify it! Ensure to advocate for yourself, don't fight through the pain.
Lunch was provided and it was delicious! Expect approx. 10-15 minutes as they want to ensure the grafts maintain their viability and the freezing doesn't wear off.
Lastly, the Implantation phase (2-3 hrs) was super smooth! I was comfortable and almost fell asleep a few times. Technicians were great!
After the procedure I was able to chat with Dr. Ahmedov. He took the time to elaborate on the results of the surgery and ensure I was okay. I was bandaged up and sent on my way.
The following day was the post-op. The shuttle takes you back to the Smile Clinic. Dr. Ahmedov was available for consultation & the clients were provided with an in-depth explanation of post-op protocol. All clients are given a duffle bag with hair products, antibiotics, pain meds, anti-inflammatories and an AWESOME booklet with FAQ, and a chart with timelines for everything!
Do not expect to sleep for a week! This is standard. You'll be utilizing a neck pillow and sleeping upright to ensure your head doesn't touch anything for approximately a week.
Overall, great experience with Smile. They are knowledgeable, friendly and handle all the logistics! Excited to share my results in 12-18 months.
