One kitchen door was missing from my order. It took three phone calls to customer service to ask for a replacement. It won’t arrive for 7 days after the original order arrived

After a error and non delivery of my online order, customer services acted swiftly to correct it. When I returned an unused tin of paint to B&Q, I was refunded quickly. All staff I dealt with were professional and very efficient.

We visited Watford warehouse. Were given good advice and help from the obviously knowledgeable staff in bathroom department. They helped us choose the bathroom equipment we needed. Arranged for delivery company to deliver on a date we required. Items were delivered by excellent company whose staff helped position items too heavy for me to move. All round, a brilliant job from start to finish. P.s. The store needs to reopen the customer toilets again. Closed since Covid but customers really need them.

I found the staff helpful good range of products like most items prices have risen some more than others
B and Q seem to do more items available for delivery rather than in-store which is a bit annoying if you want to look at the product first
But they still carry a large range

I love this shop as it always has leaflets to help you do a diy job. It always has lots of choice for items you need. The staff are helpful and look around other stores to help you find the item.

Both stock items in store had fittings missing, so bought Bemis soft close toilet seat (£46) via Market Place on line. Order process/payment quick and easy. Delivered to store within 3 days. Seat not as white as expected and marks on lid under the cellophane wrapping. Emailed supplier (no contact number) and same day response. Marks were grease caused by wrapping machine, removed with some effort on my part only to find part missing in fittings bag. 2nd email sent, slower response and got replacement 5 days later. Excellent toilet seat, had last one for 16 years. Customer service experience frustrating, lengthy and very inconvenient.

brandon road branch wanted to buy qty10 concrete blocks 5 were available on the ground level the next pallet of blocks were on the higher rack so not safe to try and lift them .
told the lady at the desk i could not get the amount i wanted and could she inform the warehouse people to bring down a pallet for the next morning .
had to listen to the we dont operate fork lifts whilst we are open i said i know thats why i requested that it be done ready for the next day .
I returned the next day and as expected nothing had been done to restock the item .
so it appears customer requests are ignored by staff and the get out clause is health and safety.

£100 parking fine for a minor infringement.
I normally have a very good experience at B&Q, but on my last visit, on a very wet day, I unfortunately parked with my front tyre just over the white bay markings. I was in a hurry and didn't notice. I am usually very careful about parking within bay markings. The car park was virtually empty and I was by no means obstructing anyone from parking in the adjacent parking bay, should they want. The front tyre was literally just over the white mark. I received a parking fine of £100 from UKPC, a company renowned for its scams. I am going to independent appeal and have emailed the CEO of B&Q because I do not think this is consistent with B&Q ethos for customer experience. This has made my experience with shopping at B&Q really awful and I would warn anyone wishing to park outside this store, should they want to risk it, that this notorious parking company is waiting for the smallest infringement to claim an extortionate amount of money.
