I've made four orders of Snoap soap products since March this year, not only because their soaps [and grinding/storage kit] are fantastic but also because this is a company that cares about their customers AND the environment.
A family run concern, Lisa, Antony and Alicia are really approachable and so very helpful. Here's two examples:
Just last week I had problems redeeming a £20 product voucher on their website, so Alicia rang me to explain and fix the problem [because it was easier than an email] and offered to take my order by phone. Bless her, she got cut-off 3 times [not her fault, but mine] but she persevered and ensured my order went through to my complete satisfaction.
Prior to that, one soap bar broke in the grinder [an unusual occurrence, but hey, things can happen], preventing me from grinding any more of it. Snoap happily replaced the bar on my next order without a quibble; and they wisely suggested the soap could still be used as a conventional soap bar. They were right and because all their soap bars are hard and very dense [to enable them to be ground] it doesn't go slimy like conventional soap: so no waste there!
Their soap products really have made a big difference to my skin - very rarely do I now have itchy shins since using their soap, and it is incredibly cost effective - OK I realise that my whole-house water softener does help with soap lathering - but the feel and scent of the soaps is amazing, especially the shampoo bars: Lisa's really clever invention of a soap grinder is genius! You just rub a sprinkling of soap grains in your wet hands to create a soft, beautiful lather, which also smells amazing.
I have stopped buying liquid shower (or hand) soap in plastic bottles.
You really can feel the difference on your skin, compared with liquid soap. No more of that for me.
So to summarise, I am 100% committed to Snoap [and the Hicks family], even if I don't need to buy any of their soap for a while, because I've bought nearly all the different types of soap they make! Do yourself a favour and try their wide range of small sample soaps - you won't be disappointed!
I've ordered soap products multiple times since March this year, drawn not only by their quality but also the company's commitment to its customers and the environment. The team is friendly and incredibly helpful. For instance, when I struggled with a voucher issue, a representative called me to resolve it quickly, even offering to place my order over the phone. Despite several interruptions, she was determined to ensure my satisfaction. On another occasion, when a soap bar broke, they replaced it without hesitation, suggesting I could still use it as a regular bar. Their soaps have significantly improved my skin condition, and I find them cost-effective. The innovative soap grinder works wonders, creating a lovely lather with just a sprinkle of soap. I've completely switched from liquid soap in plastic bottles. I highly recommend trying their sample soaps—you won’t regret it!
I discovered this through a popular show and decided to give it a try. After a couple of months, I really like it. Grating the soap requires no pressure, and the fine powder produced is sufficient for a good wash. The soaps lather well and rinse off easily. While the dispenser is a bit bulky, it's no more so than a liquid soap dispenser. Loading the soaps can be tricky, but with some practice, it works well. I have one for handwashing and another for the shower, and the mounting tape has held up perfectly. Once I finish my liquid soap, I plan to switch entirely to this product.
I can't praise these products enough. I initially tried the shampoo and fell in love with it. As someone who needed to wash my hair almost daily, this shampoo is so effective that I no longer need conditioner or daily washes. I was so impressed that I also tried the animal care shampoo, which worked wonderfully for my dog, leaving her shiny and smelling great. These products are fantastic for both me and my pet, and they are environmentally friendly!
I purchased the dispenser and soap blocks after seeing them on a show. Having previously relied on liquid soaps, I found this to be an interesting alternative. After installing the dispenser by my kitchen sink, I gradually shifted my usage and have noticed a significant reduction in liquid soap consumption. It's convenient and effective, and I've been using the original bars for months without running out. Positives include long-lasting use, excellent cleaning with minimal product, and a lovely scent. The only downside is a slightly greasy feel, but it washes off easily. Overall, this is a great product and a step in the right direction.
We have this system at home and in our rental property. It's easy to install and very cost-effective. The soaps smell fantastic, with Indulgence being our favorite. Guests often comment on how much they enjoy using it during their stay.
Hello, I discovered your product through videos and was impressed by the presentation. I recently made my first purchase and have installed one unit in the bathroom and another in the kitchen. I'm excited about the Lavender and Geranium scent and look forward to trying more soaps. Keep up the great work—your team is doing an amazing job!
My parents got this for their home, and I was skeptical. While I support reducing plastic, this product didn't work for me. The soap dissolves too quickly in water and doesn't clean effectively. I've had to revert to using a plastic bottle for proper handwashing. Additionally, it caused issues on my skin, and I believe a refillable bottle subscription would be a better sustainable option. I cannot recommend this.
The idea is excellent, but it didn't work well in practice. After just a few days in the shower, the soap bars absorbed moisture and turned into sticky lumps instead of powder. This made them deplete faster than expected, so it isn't as cost-effective as claimed. We wanted to reduce plastic usage, but we're returning to refillable bottles for now. If improvements are made to the soap, I'd be willing to try again.
The concept is great, but the execution falls short. The sticky bits don't adhere well, and the dispenser is quite large, creating excess soap dust. I ordered it after seeing it on a popular show, but now it sits unused and unfortunately out of the return period.

Welcome to the world of SNOAP, a revolutionary way to wash your hands, hair, and body.
What is SNOAP?
SNOAP comes to you via a revolutionary SOLID Soap Dispenser – this can replace your liquid soap and hair products and their associated plastic bottles and packaging – it even makes soap last longer!
Unlike many liquid products, all our SNOAPs contain natural ingredients, so the wastewater runoff will not damage aquatic flora and fauna, grazing animals or end up back on our plates.
According to Statista, the UK alone produces more than two million metric tons of plastic waste every year, which is equal to approximately 36kg per person.
Globally, the amount of plastic waste produced each year increases to 8.3 billion tons with 6.3 million tons ending up in landfill. That’s equal to 55 million jumbo jets filled with plastic.
Our SNOAP dispenser holds two bars of solid soap which is the equivalent to 20 liquid bottles. That’s 20 x 🧴 not landing in oceans, 20 x 🧴 not going to landfill, 20 x 🧴 not on the 🌎 in 500 years’ time. It saves £100s too, and is super fun to use.
