Started quite well, never had issues for 2 seasons. Ended up playing the same teams weeks on end and once a ref didn’t turn up so we made to play with no ref. We made the decision to leave as players were getting sick of last minute changes and poor officiating, referees standing on their phones not watching.
Sent 2 emails to where they told me to say we were leaving and heard nothing back. Couldn’t play last game, so used our deposit and now have to pay for opponents game with an added charge.
I’ve asked to see a contract which I’ve signed, they said they have one but haven’t been sent it yet.
Never play in their leagues as they will be texting regarding money to be sent but never answer any general queries.
I’m refusing to pay these charges until I see a contract I’ve signed.
I strongly advise against engaging with this service! I participated and paid weekly for more than 10 weeks, but when I needed to leave due to unforeseen circumstances, their demeanor shifted from friendly to aggressive. They ignored my messages, used pressure tactics, and acted as if I owed them something significant — all for a casual football game. It seems they count on people being too courteous or inexperienced to stand up for themselves. Once you're involved, they treat it like a binding financial contract rather than a simple recreational league. It's disheartening how desperate they are to cling to fees and pursue individuals — the level of aggression over such a trivial matter is astonishing. Football should be fun; instead, it felt like being ensnared in a cheap subscription scheme masquerading as a sport. Avoid this service at all costs unless you want unnecessary stress, hostility, and the sense of being exploited rather than supported.

The individual in charge of the league was consistently helpful and offered additional games, showing understanding of missed or late payments. However, the league itself has its drawbacks; there is only one division with 8 teams, leading to repetitive matchups and no opportunity for promotion. There are often weeks without games. While the referees are friendly, the quality of officiating is poor; they lack control and often make decisions based on who complains the loudest or who plays fairly on the day. Many rules seem to get forgotten or altered from week to week.
The facilities are good, and they are understanding if you read their contract. I received assistance to leave the league from a helpful representative and appreciated the additional advice. I would consider using this league again. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey!
