I have left it so long as I wondered if it would get better but since the service there is always a strong smell of oil around the boiler when it has been on.I had also noticed oil left on a mat beside the boiler which I have disposed of. Not sure whether this service caused these problems but it would seem likely
Booked in for a date using their online booking only to get a call from them to change the date. Engineer came out and didn’t inform me there was an additional charge to change the jet until it was fitted. I was informed I would be sent out a certificate to confirm the service readings taken so I had a record. Unfortunately I’ve never received this. Engineer was pleasant and seemed thorough. Just over £91 for a routine service.
I would highly recommend Solv. The team are very good & their prices are very competitive. I would like to thank Eamonn O’Rawe the Service Engineer who carried out the service on my gas boiler. He was very efficient, friendly & took his time to do a great job.
This was my first time using solv I would highly recommend using them .booking was easy the engineer (Eamonn) contacted me to say he was on his way and was on time. He carried out the job with friendliness respect and professionalism I will definitely be using them in the future
We had an intermittent problem causing the boiler to only work occasionally. After first visit the probable cause was identified. The new part was obtained and fitted and the boiler has been working perfectly ever since.Pleasant and efficient. A job well done.
