I had a boiler service with a great technician. Almost 2 weeks later, after a lot of deliberation I conclusively knew I could smell gas in my small ultility room. I phoned Solv and to be honest they did send the same engineer that had done my boiler service to rectify the problem. I have no issue with the engineer, he came back and put his hands up and said he had made a mistake. Things happen. People make mistakes. However, I was surprised that no one from the company even had the time to make a courtesy call back after it was fixed. My boiler had been leaking gas for almost two weeks. As I said, the engineer was great. I think the company needs to examine it's customer service policy. Again. The engineer was fantastic and I have no complaints about him. Mistakes happen. Company needs to think about following up.

Response and quality of work, second to none.

While carrying out work on their gas meter, Phoenix Gas discovered a pressure drop on my system and turned my gas off. I rang Solv at 2:30pm, and although I was a new customer, they had an engineer, Harry, out within the hour. By 4:30pm, Harry had discovered and repaired the gas leak and had my gas heating back on. I found their quick response exceptional, thank you Colm, and will definitely be using this company in the future.

Good service. Engineer came on time and completed boiler servicing along with gas hob and fireplace safety checks. Also bought a carbon monoxide alarm from engineer for market price. Overall good experience.
